Lyana hated hot days and today was no different. The young girl dressed for the occasion. Her style of choice was a graphic t-shirt that had a heart and an exclamation point, shorts, and converse shoes. She also pulled her long blonde hair up in a ponytail. Hoping her efforts would help with today's mission.[break][break]

"Yes."[break][break]

She preferred cool days. But she didn't want to give up just yet. But then again, humans tend to complain about any little thing. If it was too hot, they want it cold. If it was too cold, they wished for the heat. But Lyana wished for the weather to be in between. Not too cold or too hot.[break][break]

She felt a sweat drop from her forehead.[break][break]

"I've brought along my pokemon ( 3 to be exact ), 2 bottles of water, and first aid kit." She said as she looked through her backpack.

Lyana listened carefully as he stated what one would need if out and about. She forgot the rations and a satellite phone. "Oh no! Better to be prepared than sorry." Lyana felt a little embarrassed in forgetting about the two items, but she will learn from her mistakes.[break][break]

"Hopefully not horrible memories." She said silently as she looked around.[break][break]

"Hello, my name is Lyana Alastair. I'm a sixteen-year-old violinist who also is a cadet." She didn't want to state that she has leukemia. The young girl didn't want her brother or anyone to worry about her.

they all greet her in their own weird, unique mannerism. bec grunts something earthy, and rough, kel punches the air in front of him, ending it with an overeager thumbs up, and crown bows at the waist in a small gesture of respect.

likewise, greyson gives her pokemon small waves and gentle hellos. when it's all said and done, the three sets of pokemon break off into their own corners of the cavern.

She was asked if she had any other reason for being a cadet. Maybe she did have another reason. But she couldn't possibly tell Grayson that. The teen knew he wouldn't pity her.[break][break]

The blonde-haired girl listened closely. She was ready to give up her free time to be a cadet. It was better than staying in the hospital. Yes, they were there to help but it didn't give Lyana comfort at times.[break][break]

Her brother and the hospital, at times, treated her like a child. And she didn't like it. The poor girl wanted to live. Not to live boxed up in a room waiting for her condition to make things worse.[break][break]
