Given Hoenn's regular weather, it's not surprising that as Winter rolls ever closer, the inhabitants of the region are beginning to fill the encroaching chill.

One such poor inhabitant was a rosy-cheeked, shivering Larvitar that emerged from the bushes, attracted to the promise of heat the bonfire gave like a moth to flame.

"Ah. Cold, are you?" Gwyar said, before smiling and scuttling off to the side, his pokemon following suit to make enough space in the circle for the little guy. "Well, feel free to stay as long as you like."

The man did not question how a being made of rock had acquired such rosy skin.

A nightime Safari

Yet another small pokemon sought refuge from the coolness of the night.

A grass type- one that wouldn't regularly approach the fire, found that it could not resist the promise of warmth the orange glow in the distance represented.

As the little Bulbasaur walked towards the group, once again everyone kindly scooted over to allow it some room around the bonfire. Gwyar.

And a bonfire it truly was. As the Bulbasaur settled comfortably around them, it realized they weren't merely huddling together just for comfort.

At the center of the fire, a single creature was being roasted.

A dead, headless, skinned Unfezant was slowly cooked to perfection.

Hopefully it died quickly and painlessly.
