The sounds of water crashing against the coastline were immediately drowned out as Gwyar and his pokemon descended into the depths of the natural bay, and further beyond.

There were several ways to prove a theory, no matter what it was. And for his means, this one would serve perfectly.

Grabbed firmly onto his Primarina, and with his Empoleon and Octillery serving as guards, the man moved to scour route 126.

He had 60 minutes in his scuba tank. He better make them count.

Gwyar and his pokemon took refuge within a small undersea crevice as several predators swam by.

A key part in all this was to maintain a low profile; no matter what, he would not allow himself to be caught in an avoidable squabble.

His green eyes peered out carefully, making sure the community of Greninja was distracted before prompting his pokemon to make haste and get them out of there.

Their hunt was not for pokemon, but for proof.

The waters of Hoenn were truly something else.

Given the long lived embargo of Galar that the region had once held, the vast amount of Galarian pokemon that could be found in the wild nowadays was truly outstanding.

Drednaw were the kind of pokemon he could've probably been fine without meeting out in open sea, however. The mother of several that drew near with her mouth gaping wide looked as if she had spotted a feast just waiting to happen, which was never a good place to stand counter to.

As the large tortoise snapped its jaws closed, nearly separating the man's leg from the rest of his body, the man sighed, knowing there was no avoiding the battle now.

It would not take long, but it would still be lost oxygen.

Holy bloody balls I forgot about this.

His pokemon were more than ready for the scrap— more so than the Drednaw, at any rate. But the time wasted wasn't inconsiderable. Clicking his tongue from behind his breathing mask, the man continued on his trip down, releasing his Aegislash to hasten the journey.

He did not expect for what had otherwise seemed like an outcropping of rock to suddenly move, lunging for his leg. Again with the leg?

Snapping his leg up to avoid the lunge, he put some strength before swinging himself up and off Galatine, the Aegislash's eye glowing brightly in the deep darkness of the ocean as she launched towards the Golett.

He would have to try again another day— plan it more thoroughly. Too many unknowns had caught him off guard today, he thought as he reached for a pokeball.

Best to at least get something out of the trip.
