It took a little while for her to come out of her shell, but as he watched her begin to speed along throughout the caverns around them, he couldn’t help but smirk and chuckle softly under his breath. The liveliness in itself was welcome, at the very least- what with his normal means of company being anything between unresponsive and absolutely miffed in most situations, altogether.[break][break]

He watched her turn a corner and noted it for future (future being the next several seconds, of course) reference, just for the sake of being able to peer across his surroundings. A cursory glance would allow him to set eyes on a certain little bird fluttering by, and as he gazed towards it, he thought to himself before reeling his hand towards his belt and plucking a capsule from it, all before tossing it forward. The familiar sight of a crackling, jagged wisp caught his eye as it reacted upon first contact with the bird, and after watching it wriggle several times before laying dormant, he walked over and picked the ball up.[break][break]

He gave it a quick toss and catch before hooking it back onto his belt and turning down the cave once more with a hum.[break][break]
