Rikiya waited at the door to the elevator, watching the counter as it marked which floor the elevator was currently on. It seemed to be stopping rather frequently, a sign that the elevator was rather busy at this time. But then, he was too lazy to do the stairs today, he felt like simply taking the elevator down to the ground floor.

"C'mon. C'mon. C'mon.", Rikiya mumbled as he waited for the elevator to come up.

Finally, the elevator arrived on his floor. Much to Rikiya's surprise, the last occupants of the elevator would disembark from it, leaving it empty for the Electric specialist. But as Rikiya stepped in, he would see someone rushing towards the elevator. Feeling unusually generous that day, Rikiya placed a hand on the censor, keeping the elevator door open just long enough for the person to rush in.

He would then let this person hit the button for their destination first.

She was late. Merlin hated nothing more than being late and here she was doing just that. Rushing with mumbled curses that always came out louder than she intended, Merlin ran into the building with Scruffy firmly in her arms looking less-than-thrilled with the situation. As she saw the elevator open-and begin to close- she cursed. Great. Another fucking set back.

Blinking in surprise when it stayed open, Merlin lunged into the elevator and stopped, panting as she turned to mash the button for the floor she needed. ”Thanks,” the gamer mumbled, still panting as she glanced at the stranger. The elevator began moving and she leaned back against the wall for a break. ”I really hate being-“ without warning the elevator shuddered and stopped, making her eyes snap open and a sneer cover her features. ”Fuck-seriously?” she mashed the door open button and the floor button in tandem, but to no avail. ”Fuck!”

Rikiya blinked as the woman thanked him for being late. He didn't care what she was heading up for. The man shrugged, and waited for the elevator to ascend to its destination. When the elevator would come to a sudden halt, Rikiya looked shocked. The woman in question, who sounded familiar upon hearing her talk, was more vocal with her outrage than he was with his annoyance over the malfunction.

"Great, elevator's on the shitter again.", Rikiya mumbled, before turning to the gamer. "Yo, you might wanna call whoever it is that's expecting you.", Rikiya would tell the bespectacled woman. "You mind if I vape?", he'd ask the woman nonchalantly. While he sounded calm about the situation, internally, he was annoyed that this was happening again. But knowing the elevator, it'd come back to life in ten minutes at most.
