Being part of Rocket while still considered as a grunt, it is inevitable to get a job that she does not necessarily like. Robbing stuff is definitely not her style, especially if it was alone. Nia stands inside a room within the apartment right in front of the Macro Cosmos Bank that faces directly to the bank. Nia put an eye on the place through the binocular trying to look at the movement of the bank after she sent a warning that she is going to steal. Unknown to her, deep inside her, she wants this operation to fail. She is just unable to see what attracts a bank robber to steal money from the people.

"Okay, wasting time here won't help me in any way. I should go now" Nia let out a sigh, putting down the binocular. She gets out of the room and gets out from the apartment and blends in with the crowd while making her approach to the bank slowly.

out of all the capable officers they could send, they picked uriah, who isn't incapable per se but he definitely is an interesting choice.

“M’name’s Adam,” he replied with the tiniest of sighs.

Well, that previous attempt at employment was a bust.

Now he was back to taking odd jobs again here and there. Just when he thought he’d finally found a place where he could actually have a roof over his head again; well, now it was back to living out of a suitcase once more.

Accompanying him was a Dragapult, who at the moment was mostly invisible—had it not been for the cackling Dreepy that were resting on the ‘fins’ that constituted its face.

“Hope nothing too bad goes down today.”

❝ The Lord Giveth and The Lord Taketh Away

Not hastily on entering the bank and launching her plan, Nia decides to walk around and observe the parameter while she was still within the crowd. After making sure an escape route that she can take if everything goes south, she decides to take out Mahiro and Nina to create a distraction. She wants to make herself not to be known by law enforcement as much as she can since she still likes her day as a normal librarian and the minor league gym leader.

Mahiro walks to the front door of the bank innocently and opens the door as she invokes HAIL and lets hailstorm happen within the building before she walks out and ran away. Nina does a follow-up as she let out a breath of cold air creating a BLIZZARD gradually freezing the place. Some parts of the bank started to get frozen, even some of the unsuspecting guards are now turned into ice statues. With a simple scarf that covers her mouth, a ski hat, and a thick jacket that covers her whole body, Nia sneaks in under the hail and blizzard that is happening within the building.

just as adam says he hopes nothing bad would happen, a HAIL is announced, followed by a BLIZZARD.

machamp flexes, bracing the cold BLIZZARD to charge ahead, BULKING UP as it searches for the source.

“Look, I had no idea!” he exclaimed, looking around. Okay, hold up, wait a second—

“Snow doesn’t suddenly happen, look around you!” he observed a few moments later. “My guess is that there’s someone moving around under the cover of the weather!”

To that he had an answer, teeth chattering slightly at the cold. Bloody hell, even the snow in Circhester wasn’t this cold! A red beam of light shot forward and his Cinderace shot forward from the depths.

“W-w-warm up the area!” he hissed, licking his own lips that were drying out due to the sudden weather change.

Without warning, the Fire-type took a deep breath and released a burst of heated air; the flaming aura it exuded warming up Adam somewhat.

“I-I’ll look up ahead!” he volunteered, and with that the shivering Dragapult and Cinderace followed him.

As she goes inside, she already brings Nina and Mashiro back to her Pokeball. While sneaking around, she notices two people who are supposed to be the guard that at the beginning they were bickering with each other before the other person starts to move. The blizzard starts to subside but the hailstorm still running rampant. Nia takes out Chigusa and starts to whisper, "Create some distraction, okay?" Nia tells her partner before she releases CONFUSE RAY that is targeted to URIAH BLACK 's Machamp hoping that he got confused and rampage due to the confusion.

Nia ducks under the counter to hide for a moment before walking further to the vault at the back. With how she attacks while still in front could be enough to give them an illusion that she is still at that place. Even if they thought otherwise, they would find nothing in the vault area as she is still hiding between the front and the vault.

but as chaos erupts all around them, uri takes a moment to gather his thoughts, breathing as he braces through the chilly winds of the BLIZZARD.

hit by a CONFUSE RAY, machamp is stopped in its advance, staggering for moments as it attempts to regain its bearings.

"chad! focus up!"

uri starts scanning the area, searching for silhouettes.

His Dragapult was certainly not having a good time at all. The weather was cold, damn it!

Staying as close to Adam and the Cinderace as possible, the Dragapult began looking around, wondering if he could pick up on any sign of the invader—or invaders, considering that this was definitely caused by a Pokémon somewhere—and catch them by surprise.

“Hide,” he hissed in the ghostly dragon’s direction, who then took up a position via Phantom Force, slipping into the shadows and following Adam and the Cinderace from there.

The bipedal rabbit Pokémon then conjured up a small-enough fireball to keep them both warm as they continued to battle through the sudden weather change inside, him holding onto the Fire-type as shit got slippery—rather slippery.

“Wh-wh-whoever you are, c-c-c-come out of there! I have a D-D-Dragapult ready to corner you!” he barked, never mind if his teeth were chattering because bloody hell, what kind of crackpot would use Ice-type moves inside a building?!

As she was hiding under the counter, she manages to hear their voice now. One of the voices sounds familiar to her yet nothing pops out to her mind and she quickly dismisses it as it is just her imagination. While her looks have changed gradually as she grows up but her voice remains the same, "Look, I have no beef with you both. Just walk away and let me finish my job, okay?" Nia asks them trying to negotiate before moving to the other spot. She doesn't want her to get caught from them determining the location of her voice.

Nia needs to make them go outside for a good while so she can work with the vault. She knows that the vault won't be easy to break if they still remain there looking for her.

Much tempted as he was to set something on fire, he didn’t want to risk any structural damage, considering that the wild weather was still running its course in the enclosed space.

Although, for a few moments he stopped. The Cinderace and Dragapult turned to stare at him, because why the hell wasn’t he moving?! Not moving in a snow storm was guaranteed death, despite—

“N-n-n-no,” he chattered, rubbing his hands together as he finally picked up the pace and moved forward. The voice was still nagging at him—

It couldn’t be.

“S-s-s-stay where you are!” he continued, soldiering on through the cold.

Nia saw the Machamp leap toward the counter, the spot where she was staying earlier. If she hasn't moved - She would have been captured by now. "I'd love to stay where I was but looks like Machamp wants to take me and I can't let them do that. You know~" Nia says as she plastered a burner phone to the underneath of a desk and make it a loudspeaker and connected to her phone before she moves away again. "Hear me out okay, I seriously don't want to hurt any of you. Let's make a deal.. How about I don't take everything and I just take enough for myself. I swear to Arceus that it won't be much of a big amount" Nia tries to negotiate through her phone. While she is not there anymore, the voice is still coming out from the same position.

Nia may be a Rocket, but she dislikes the idea of injuring people. She just wants to end everything painlessly and as peacefully as possible. It is not like Nia is an evil person, the only reason why she becomes a Rocket is that her parents are a Rocket and if she shirks away from the responsibility as a Rocket - She hates to see her parents get a problem from it. Hence, why she needs to make this heist a success.

The Cinderace looked over at him in alarm—being one of his longest Pokémon companions, he’d seen and known things.

“D-d-don’t burn anything,” he hissed, rubbing his hands together as the Fire-type kicked up a fallen object and was tempted to set it ablaze, but a shaking gesture from Adam made him stay his paws.

The Dragapult had basically had it, and then launched Dragon Darts into the swirling mist; the two Dreepies cackling as they were shot out at blinding speed with reckless wanton.

The two Dreepies cackled as they shot through the gloom, attempting to strike at the source of where the voice was coming from.

“Lady, I swear. You leave th-that money alone!” he continued as the Cinderace released a burst of heated air, warming up the area as they continued forward, shoving aside fallen desks as best as they could in an attempt to catch their culprit.
