[attr="class","andie"] pokemon tag words 365 notes puff puff, meeperneeper :joy: | She was still in shock at the menu.
When the date said ‘all expenses paid’, she wasn’t expecting to see a menu that had food names listed, but no price next to them.
So she had a feeling this was looking to either be a big scam where she was going to be set up to wash all the dishes later, or it really was a legitimately-sponsored date by the service in partnership with the restaurant, offering a taste of the high life and fine dining. She was a little surprised to see other couples being shown in, so at least she wasn’t alone.
Exhaling a little cloud, she continued to stare at the menu blankly, trying to figure out what the actual fuck she was going to select—she’d remembered asking the limousine driver about some details and all the guy said was ‘Don’t worry about paying, little miss, the service has everything covered. Even the limo drive,’ before gesturing to the snack bar inside the limo where she’d helped herself to some complementary pretzels and soda while on the way to the venue.
The moment she picked up the scent of blueberry-flavored smoke, she looked up from her still-shocked gaping at the menu and saw that she was no longer alone.
What earned the guy plus points right away was the fact that he was also a vaper, the only thing was that as compared to her conservative smoke-blowing, his was a little…excessive.
“Hey there, Cheesecake, didn’t know you were a vaper too,” she began in greeting, lightening the mood and stretching her hand out to shake the offered one. “I’m Evelyn, but you can call me Evie. And yes, apparently my parents thought it was a smart idea to watch The Mummy so I’m named after the librarian girl there,” she added as a bit of a joke to further set him at ease.
Rikiya—or Rick, as he preferred to be called, then took the seat opposite hers and puffed out a sizable cloud of blueberry.
“Have you seen the menu?” she asked, sliding the one that was offered to her his way. “There’s like no prices on it at all.”
