Whispers of unspeakable horror has spread throughout Mauville City as of late. The streets have gone eerily quiet as the once bustling streets have emptied out bereft of the population expected from a commercial hub. Bodies of pokemon have recently surfaced in abominable conditions with limbs surgically grafted onto one another in perverse and sick attempt to conceive a grotesque monstrosity.

Like a fly attracted to a warm light, he too is drawn in by the rumors. His approach is slow and meticulous with each step and glance surveying the area. He can feel the tension of his muscles wind throughout his body as he’s never felt more vulnerable.

Fatigue slowly washes over him leaving him wondering when he last slept. His eyes close briefly before slitting open and he delves further deeper into one of the city’s complexes – his gut instincts telling him that he’s close to the source of the madness. A sudden noise jolts his senses into high alert as he swipes his trench coat aside revealing a large belt with an odd device as its buckle.

The buckle quickly begin to gyrate with loud whirs with sparks of electricity emitting from it.

His arrival into Mauvile City had been horrifying to say the least. The very first morning he approached her he was blessed with negativity of the highest regard, being a forcefully fused and now deceased Pokemon. From there he had heard tales of other similar incidents in the city, leading the Trainer to visiting a few of the spots if only to check the area to see if each location was at least somewhat similar.

Though he had taken no direct mission from the police or any League official, Dovac couldn't prevent himself from throwing himself into the fray nonetheless. Left wandering around the city with Sir his Galarian Farfetch'd at his left and Paras his Bug-Grass-Dual Type Pokemon to his right.

Hendrix can’t help but to stay on guard after being on the run for the past year. His eyes narrow towards the man slowly approaching. The sparks of electricity flash out past his eyes causing him to feel the heavy thumping of his heart beating from his chest. Taking this small interlude to compose himself, Hendrix takes a deep breath. [break][break]

”Who are you?” He asks the stranger. ”Not many take the time to walk around in this time of night.” [break][break]

Suspicions are high though that’s a given with the cruel events that have happened as of late. His fists reflexively tighten as he readies himself for a fight.

Pausing in his step Dovac would initially, and momentarily, remain on guard when running into another soul. Nonetheless even while remaining somewhat tense physically Dovac's words would fall from his mouth with little sluggishness.

" Dovac, you? "

Sliding his large hands into his pants pockets then Dovac would loosen up, slouching a tad even. Taking the time then to eye both Sir and Paras before then scanning the vicinity around them. Even he couldn't shake the heavy eeriness in the air, so thick that it made weekend morning fog look like a blue sky. However the man's wandering/overactive mind would take the other man's words and twist them, turning "walking around at night" and blending it with the time of the year thus churning out memories of the "Holiday Pokemon" Delibird. Shaking his head Dovac would snap back to reality with more to say.

" I've been hearing some pretty crazy stuff... "
