mpoleon?! the water-type did not seem to be happy at all. apparently, unknown to the trainer, this land belonged to the empoleon and they were trespassers. mateo was able to read the empoleon's expression and indicate well enough that they were trespassing.taking hold of his goggles, he'd place them over his eyes. body lowered, arms spread, and legs apart, he readied for the penguin to make a move. a body of water enshrouded the steely penguin, it prepared to use aqua jet.

"come!" he called.

jetting forward, sceptile would intercept with the move leaf blade holding it back while dragonite swooped into grab its trainer. he would come to climb atop of dragonite's back, riding it while watching the empoleon clash head on with sceptile. "bring your arm down upon it!" encasing its free arm with a glowing sickle, he'd utilize leaf blade once more only to bring its arm downward. "hell yeah!" the empoleon would be smacked into the ground. sceptile jumping back to give themselves some distance. in the air, mateo screamed, "be careful, it's a tough one!" and he wanted it on his team. it wasn't a dragon, but it would definitely do!

a swagger was given, attempting to intimidate sceptile. in the instant it happened, sceptile felt confused; as though he were seeing multiple empoleon. "oh no, that's swagger...sceptile's in trouble, but maybe we can turn this around..." this was probably going to sound stupid, but, "sceptile, if you can hear me, spin around and use leaf blade--even if you might hurt yourself, just do it!" the empoleon began to rush forward, launching like a rocket and rotating rapidly as it would attempt to utilize drill peck. like a bullet it spun fast and great, preparing to pierce the grass-type with all it had. "sceptile, do it now!" green, energized sick-like blades were created upon its wrist. large and durable, sceptile spun. confused even more then it had already been, it possessed great strength to back it up. the sceptile would smack empoleon to the side as though it were nothing. ceasing its spinning, it would fall upon its bottom.

the empoleon stood with annoyance, and sceptile, shaking its head, would remove its confusion. it was angry to have been embarrassed by the like of a water-type and empoleon was angered by the sceptile's ability to counter his steel body. "empoleon's type may be water, but it's also steel and has a pretty tough body. we can't rule out the possibility that sceptile's blades are doing little damage, just making it more annoyed. we'll just have to deplete its energy..." a command given, "mega drain, sceptile!" and thus the empoleon was met with an unpleasant drainage of energy. causing it to fall upon its knees. rather then attempt to defeat it, they would take the route to capture it.

a pokeball was thrown from above. attempting to capture the steel, water penguin. the ball would engulf it in a bright, red crimson beam of energy. locking and attempting to seal it away for good.
