The island at last.

Departing the boat, Gabby stands besides Jessica. Briefly glancing around, the island appeared welcoming to her. Overall the first impressions were great, and she was eager to have some personal time with her older sister. "It's going to be great!" She speaks eagerly, ignorant of Jessie's reaction.

Her hand gingerly slips into a pocket and pulls out a pokeball. Releasing her spheal who happily barks upon it's release. "so... where to first?"

"Excellent thinking." Gabby replies, looking about to see if there was anything to eat within eyesight. While there wasn't anything edible, she was confident that they'd be able to find something in the nearby forest. Pointing towards the direction of trees her focus returns to Jessie.

"We'll probably find something to eat in there, what do you think?" She suggests, not wanting to make all the decisions herself since she wanted to learn how to work as a team with her sister.

"Great!" Gabby replies, relieved that her sister agreed on going into the forest. The idea excited Gabby - it wasn't every day she could explore an uninhabited island there was no telling what the two could discover!

"Hey Berry go and help Finn out would ya please?" Berry barks out in agreement, barking as she waddles towards Finn. Eager to also be entrusted with such a crucial task.

Gabby follows after Jessie and it wasn't long till they reached the entrance. The forest looked a lot more ominous now that they were closer, and a distant howl caused her skin to crawl.

"A-are you scared Jess?" Gabby asked her older sister curiously, having second thoughts.

"Right!" There still was a part of her that remained scared, but Gabby was relieved that Jessie was so courageous for the both of them. She walked close behind her sister, wanting to be on the look out in case something came up from behind them.

When she heard a sudden screech and the loud flapping of pokemons wings as scattered off into the skies she rushed forward reaching for jessie's arm first thing.

Gabby quickly came to a realization of what she had done, and her face flushed red. "heh.. sorry got spooked." she admits with a goofy smile, still clutching onto her older sisters arm for comfort and support.

"Do you know how to make shelter Jess?"

With her sister’s approval, Gabrielle gained confidence and squeezed Jessie’s arm a littler tighter. She begins to grin like a dork as those words gave her the comfort she had been looking for.

“Oh ya, I guess that would be easiest.” She nods agreeing but a little surprised. Gabrielle had always pictured Jessica as a very posh and glamorous sort of person. Never did she think that her older sister was open to camping out in the wilderness.

This was a side of Jessica that Gabrielle did not know about, and honestly she was thrilled to see it.

A clearing overhead comes into view and Gabby could make out what looked to be a cavern, though it was still a distance away and difficult to really know.

‘Hey I think that looks like a cave! Should we head that direction?”

“Cool.” Gabrielle responds when her sister agrees. Hoping that it would be an ideal location to spend an entire week in. They continued to move along and before long, Gabrielle could hear more rustling.

But all the rustling was their pokemon returning, with food they had found. Berry didn’t bring have much, just a small apple which didn’t look very ripe. But it was expected since Spheals don’t have the greatest limbs.

“Thanks, Berry!” She takes the apple, wiping the dust off it with her sleeve. Deciding to save it for now, since it was unknown if they could find more food or not.

After walking for a bit longer, they finally reach the cave. It wasn’t big but there was enough room for the both of them and enough space for a small fire.

Better than sleeping out in the rain.

“Home sweet home~” Gabby jokes in a sarcastic tone.
