Maybe Mars should check out other places more often since he has only encountered Unown at the eerie mountain twice, but that’s already much more than the zero he has encountered at most locations in Hoenn (aside from the one him and Remiel Calcifet ran into near Rustboro when searching with that researcher whose name he can barely remember).

There’s nothing strange or unexpected about the presence of a pokémon like Duosion in Mt. Pyre, and when he spots one floating about a metre off the ground like the seemingly shapeless blob it is, Mars barely pays attention to it.

After all, it’s not what he’s looking for and he has a few Reuniclus of his own, so why bother with this?
