With the holiday season over with and finding herself not wanting to do any odd jobs today, the raven haired woman decided to give the safari zone a quick visit to pass the time. Green orbs flickered to her massive mudsdale, hand extended out to gingerly pat the creatures shoulder blade. It neighed, hooded foot lifted to kick the snow that covered the ground. Stream rolled out of its nostrils, head bobbed up and down ready to run. It was times like these when she was thankful she traded away the other pokemon for this one, the ground type would have an easier time walking in the snow than she.

A sigh escaped her, moving to mount the creature. Despite poplar belief, Genesis did learn how to ride horse back and she was young. However, the woman still struggled to get on the beast before finding her spot on her back. She sniffled, adjusting herself into a comfortable position on the back of the horse. With a click of her tongue and a light tap of her foot on the horses side, the mudsdale fell into a light trot. The several inches of snow that blanketed the safari’s wilderness no problem for the massive horse.

The pair made their way through the thick blanket of snow that covered the safari zone wilderness. Despite the layers the raven haired woman put on this morning, she could already feel the cold seeping through them. She shivered, tightening her fist in an attempt to let it get to her. The mudsdale however, was unaffected. She trotted through the cold stuff with ease, head bobbed up and down when she spotted their first pokemon.

Genesis peaked over the creature head, leaning slightly to the side to get a good look. The bright yellow skinned creature stuck out like a sore thumb against the snow, playing and chiming while it played. The woman grunted, not finding that creature very appealing to her. A grunt escaped her, softly kicking the creatures side to force it to move on. “Let’s keep looking.”

The mudsdale trotted through the snow with ease, suddenly hauling when wild oshawott emerged from a pile of snow close to them. In fact, it started the creature so bad it reared up. Her front legs kicked, accidentally knocking a hoof into the head of the creature. A light thud was hear, Genesis peering over to the side to see that her mudsdale knocked it out cold.

Fearing that the safari warden would think they did it on purpose, the woman swiftly tossed an empty safari ball. It hit, sucking the creature in. Leaping off her mount, she strolled over to pluck the ball off the ground and shove it in her pocket. Hopefully, the wardens didn’t have cameras out here. With a deep breath, Genesis re mounted on her mudsdale. A light kick of her foot made the horse move. For now, their search continued.

It didn’t take long before the pair ran into another wild pokemon. This time however, the cyndaquil simply waddled right up to them. It gaze up at Genesis, eyes seemed said. It sniffled. Genesis knew what was going on. It was cold and didn’t want to be in the cold anymore. Reaching into her pocket, the woman tossed any empty ball at the pokemon. It hit, sucking the creature in and closed behind it.

With that, the woman hopped off the horse only to pluck the ball off the ground and re mount her beast. It neighed, moving to venture further into the safari wilderness. Only one ball left now, lets hope a shiny rowlet decides to grace them with its appearance.

Unfortunately, the raven haired woman didn’t have much. The horse and her rider trotted through the snow covered wilderness of the safari zone for many hours. Only for them to stumble across a normal colored rowlet. A frown formed along the woman lips, a deep sigh escaped her. It wasn’t the shiny one she was looking for, but it was way too cold for her to continue her search any longer. Plucking her last ball from her pocket, Genesis took aim. Her eyes on the rowlet that slept in the tree before them.

And when she felt like she was ready, the woman launched the ball at the creature. The ball smacked the poor sleepy creature right in the face. It blinked, yawning and stretching only to be sucked into the safari ball that got yeeted at it. The ball then sealed, rolling off the branch and landing in the white snow below. Genesis scoffed, un mounting off her mudsdale to pick out the ball. Another sigh escaped her, plucking the ball off the ground only to shove it into her pocket and remount her horse. “I guess we are done here.”

The trotted back to the base location, ready to call it a day.
