A light jingling floated by, making Mint look up as a Chingling moved by as if carried by the wind. He tapped his chin for a moment. It hadn't noticed him yet, and that would make an easy enough catch. But....not exactly the best cuddle shape. Kind of small. Naw. He only had four balls on him after all. Better wait. He stood by and watched the psychic time float away before continuing on his search.

Mint caught sight of a small otter pokemon, waving around a scallop and striking at a tree. It was too focused on its training to notice him. Perfect. The grunt crouched, getting low as he pulled out a safari ball. Just as he was about to throw it, Mint called out "BOO!" causing the water type to yelp, nearly dropping his scallop and turning to look at Mint in sheer panic and horror as a pokeball came flying at its face.

No longer humming or talking to himself. The forest had gotten a little quieter, and he found himself matching the vibes. If he wasn't on a schedule, this would've been as good a time as any to take a little nap. "He's got the right idea." he murmured, as he glanced over a sleeping Cyndaquil only for his head to snap towards the fire type. Mint clamped a hand over his shoulder to keep himself from squealing about it, chucking a pokeball at it's sleeping form instead. Yes. Yes absolutely yes.

Mint grinned as his pokeball stopped shaking, picking up his new catch excitedly. “Ok, ok, next before time runs out.” He said before hearing a soft hoot. A Small, soft green Rowlet fluttered down form her branch, eyeing him curiously. She didn’t seem interested in running away despite having probably seen him catch the cyndaquil. “Hello?” he said, as the owl pokemon tilted its head at him. “Want a treat?” he asked, pulling out a couple from his backpack and holding them out. The Rowlet flapped her wings hovering over his arm to steal a treat and munching thoughtfully. A moment or too later, and the bird pokemon sat down on his arm pecking at his hand to pick up the remaining treats. “So cute…I’m taking you home too.” He said, though the bird seemed unbothered as he tapped her with another pokeball.

He grinned to himself, putting away the third catch of the day. One more. He hummed excitedly, green eyes darting back and forth before he heard a soft barking. Mint jogged, intrigued by the racket only to find a yellow Growlithe chasing a Pidove around a tree. It didn't look aggressive...unfortunately the bird pokemon did not want to play, screeching back in an attempt to ward it off. Mint coudld take care of that. Wit ha flick of his wrist he tossed his last safari ball at the fire type, excited to take it with him.
