"Ok, fuck you," Klaus hisses at the mess of wires before him as his hands hastily withdraw from the surge of electricity jolting through his fingers from an open wire - made all the worse by the fact that the power to this section was supposedly off according to his lockouts.

"Who the fuck rewired this," the man snarls, his open hand slamming in frustration on a nearby panel to vent his anger. It must have been Arthur, he was always breaking shit as far as Klaus was concerned - and more importantly the last on duty. Having already gone on twelve hours of this mess, Klaus ends up soldering, rewiring, and replacing several parts of the integrated radio equipment for a combined total of 36 hours of work before he's finally able to answer incoming calls from nearby ships.

By the time his wearied frame collapses onto his bed at 6 in the morning to sleep, his eyes ringed nearly black from exhaustion and only just closing, Klaus emits a small noise at what sounds like knocking in the distance. Too tired to care, Klaus pulls his blankets further over his head as if to block out the noise, only to wail a bewildered, "What the fuck," when his world is shaken by a damp Furfrou upon his bed. Who let a dog up here? More importantly, who was speaking to him?

"Annie?" comes the question of absolute disbelief when Klaus finally recognizes the Furfrou attempting to love his face off. Shoving away Remington, Klaus's questions of why the woman is here, and why he has to get up, fall on deaf ears as he is pulled from bed, dressed without his consent, and pushed out of the lighthouse into the hellish morning light.

Klaus sucks desperately at the offered coffee, hoping for a modicum of relief with a fresh infusion of caffeine to force his body awake. He trudges in silence as the morning sun climbs higher, only half-listening at the news he will be attending supper with Annie. Gathering his senses as best he can, Klaus's voice cracks as he demands, "Fucking hell, not tonight. Annie I haven't slept in over a day - I just laid down to sleep."

"I'm pretty sure it's going to kill me," Klaus shoots back sarcastically as to the fresh air, his eye visibly twitching from lack of sleep and stress. He groans dramatically, his hand lifting to rub at the side of his face and specifically his eye in an attempt to sooth the tightened muscles as Annie soundly ignores him and continues speaking.

Klaus stops briefly in the road at the news Trig is apparently in Hoenn, a softly hopeful "Really?" spilling from his lips before he clears his throat awkwardly and glances away, the pause in his step barely noticeable as he continues onwards. He only listens half-heartedly as his friend babbles about the reason for her family's appearance in the Region, the young man's thoughts drifting to Annie's twin as he supplies half-hearted and distracted 'yeahs' where appropriate in the conversation.

He jumps into himself when Remington appears from the grass with a whole damn Impidimp in his maw, the Furfrou's barking and Impidimp's shrieking causing the young man to wince deeply. Huffing in annoyance at Annie, Klaus sips at his coffee once more before releasing Dhelmise from his pokeball. Grumbling beneath his breath, Klaus points with his index finger from around his coffee cup, "Go fuck it up," at a second Impidimp which wanders onto the road.

A rather vicious scuffle reveals the second Impidimp to instead be a Ditto and Klaus throws a pokeball before continuing on their walk. His mouth opening and then closing, Klaus musters up the courage to ask, "Why is Trig going back to Kalos?"
