So this is why Rowan had Bryan secure all of those supplies from the devon ship near sootopolis. Seems like he had big plans for Sea Mauville and Bryan was more than willing to lend a hand if it meant he'd be helping rocket out. [break][break]

Since Geomancy he had been throwing himself into his work a lot more. He looked tired, he clung to his bottle a little more closely than before and had been smoking more often. It was obvious something was bothering him but after his promotion to beast not many people were able to voice their displeasures to him without him taking action. [break][break]

However he was glad to be spending more time with Eris Halla , he did regret what he said and did to her the last time they spent time together so he was a bit on edge to make sure those memories don't resurface. "You scared of ghosts?" he joked as he tried to tease the little girl.

OCCUPIED OCEAN

CROSSING THE THRESHOLD SENDS A SHIVER DOWN YOUR SPINE, although you'd expected the presence of ghost-type Pokémon, there was an almost sinister energy that permeated the ruins. You feel a thousand eyes on you, all of them invisible, watching and waiting for their opportunity to drag you to the depths and add you to their ranks. A HAUNTING WAIL emanates from the cavernous corridors, the product of dilapidated metal or the promised spirits that haunt this place?

Were you steeled enough to continue on, you'd find that the threat of the supernatural becoming more real from the moment. FACES, DISTORTED IN AGONY appear in the darkness out of the corner of your eye, disappearing as soon as you look at them. Were they figments of your imagination, or something more?

When you come to the main atrium, water cascades all around you, rolling over ledges and staircases. Even with the constant noise, you aren't immune to the FOOTSTEPS approaching. A young girl down the stairs, one that Bryan would recognize immediately as none other than @soleil herself. "Did you come to be with me, big brother?" Her voice came out soft, matching her emaciated form. "I miss you so much." Yet, the figure that Eris sees is vastly different.

A MASS OF SHADOWS COALESCED into a singular form, deep crimson eyes trained on it's intended victim. "Please, I'm so lonely." Soleil called out to Bryan once more, holding out a palid hand. "We can be together again, just come with me. We'll be safe under the water...no one can hurt us there. Unless...you replaced me already...with her."

Some MALEVOLENT FORCE was playing a cruel game with Bryan's mind, would he be able to resist, or will Eris be the one to make him see reality?

He immediately regretted opening his mouth. He stared at this ghost with his mouth wide open, Soleil? No, it wasn't possible, she was dead and no blue mulch could bring her back. [break][break]

But here she was, standing right before him. "S-Soleil?" he said as his mouth became dry, his pulse began to rise as his heart felt like it was going to stop. Yet it continued to pulse, faster and faster still. "What-What are you doing her-e?" he said wondering whether to trust his instincts or not. [break][break]

Eris started to yell at the copy of soleil causing him to doubt what was going on. He snapped out of it suddenly, shaking his eyes as he recalled something. "You're not the real soleil." as his head began to hurt he placed a hand over his eye. "She's..She's- I know where her body is..and it's not here." he says clenching his fist. He had to release his anger now, his fingers pierced into into the wall and ripping out a chunk of it. "Don't fucking PRETEND TO BE HER." he said hurling a piece of the wall at the fake Soleil wondering how it'd react to it.

As panic begins to rise, Eris whistles, urgently patting Reiner's shoulder and signalling for him to help. And he responds with a harsh growl, Electricity pouring off of his figure and dancing across the Terrain as he bristles at the imposter.

Bryan releases his morepeko, it was in it's hangry mode making it a partial dark type. "Aura wheel!" he orders as it rushes forward with a dark energy coating it's body. "SHUT THE FUCK UP! Reiner was a very smart pokemon, that barrier wouldn't block morepeko off due to his electric typing. [break][break]

Morepeko devoured the seaweed, switching out of hangry mode and stared at the ghost and then back at his trainer. He knew Bryan was gonna be unable to give him orders so he took matters into his own hand and used parting shot on the ghost, yelling some profanities at it before it's pokeball grabbed onto it with a red beam of light and recalled it home. [break][break]

Eris tried to console Bryan but he had enough. He put up a hand and gathered a light in his palm, grabbing Eris to cover her with his body and keeping his eyes shut to not have to listen to the ghost. "ghosts hate light right?" he asked desperate for an answer to leave the pair alone. The rainbow infused light flew out from his palm right towards the fake Soleil, in combination with the hex managed to deal a lot of damage to the source of whatever was causing this phenomenon. [break][break]

he was still shaking up, trembling at her touch. Her words meant to heal only cut into him deeper, those were the same words he had told Soleil and she fell right through his finger tips. His fear turned into anger, which then turned into...nothing..a wave of calm came over him as he realized this void feeling enabled him to act. He stood up, his body slowly returning his adrenaline levels to normal. "Eris, get out of here. I'm tearing this shit down myself. Rocket can rebuild it." he said gripping his fists.

As Reiner and Eris left the area he let his walls down. He let out a loud and horrendous scream, yet he was in no pain. He felt no pain, no aches, nothing at all. Yet his heart and mind were broken. He slammed the wall with his fist as the building shook "WHY." he screamed out loud as tears filled his eyes for the first time. [break][break]

"WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME. I DID THIS FOR YOU." he screamed again as another punched at a nearby wall as more dust filled the air. He let out one final scream and punch to the wall and the hallway began to crack and collapse on itself. Needless to say, the ghosts who were previously there would no longer be causing a problem as Bryan proved to be a force of nature to reckon with. [break][break]

He safely made his way out of it afterwards via his exeggutor with teleport. He stayed silent at first, not really looking her in the eye put placing a hand on her head. "Thanks kiddo." he said as he walked forward and away from her.
