He smiled graciously at the assistant, happily putting on the VIP pass on top of his outfit. It seemed to be an awkward experience that the gym was empty He figures at much, Sootopolis had turned against the League and Melody. Despite all this it almost made the battle more exciting. Not because he was happy no one would see him mess up but because this….this right here? The pink lights, the spotlight, the sythns booming in the concert hall, the fog?!?! Mint hadn’t been something this flashy in his previous gym experiences. [break][break]

He's amazed, really. It was a similar vibe to his older sister’s concerns. He’d been able to see a few for himself and the spectacle was of the same caliber: over the top. But he stepped forward without concern, grinning as he pulled down the hood of jellyfish themed hoodie. “Happy to be here?? Where?? Is here?” he asked, more than happy to play along. What else would change? What colors would he see? He didn’t even want to battle he wanted to explore most of the stadium Melody had created.

Mint nodded watching the concert hall move and transform as Melody played with the controls. Even if there was no audience to marvel at it, it was still pretty amazing. A shame Rocket had cleared out her crowds, but he imagined if she set up something on the mainland she’d sell out with ease. As she settled back into her spot, he nodded once more. “You’re gonan wish you’d let me present my powerpoint!” he called out as he moved a bit to take his own position opposite of the Diva.

Wit ha flash of light, he let out Cacio, who seeing his opponents sparked aggressively and snarled at the Bruxish to begin his INTIMIDATION. “Start it off, Cacio!” he shouted striking a pose as his Luxray, very annoyed at the command might I add, stamped his front paw forward before an electric pulse rippled out of the electric type as he used MAGNET RISE. His fur seemed to ripple as the pokemon began to float. It’s practiced movement, the cat able to stay in a fixed position and waiting for his next set of orders. Though, it wasn’t uncommon for the forest king to take the lead himself.

Cacio being air borne gave him a bit more difficulty to control moving around when someone else was forcing him. Instead of the controlled run he typically had, the Luxray seemed to slide through the air and he's yeeted by the Bruxish. "Brace for impact!" Mint called out as the cat attempted to right himself instead of tumbling wildly into the side of the arena. [break][break]

The panther slammed into the wall wit ha loud grunt before Mint sent out his next order. "Bounce back with Discharge!" he said as the electric time forced himself off the wall as hard as he could to get closer into range before unleashing a wild wave of electricity. Mint moving of course to take cover from the assaults.

Mint is brave enough to asses the damages after he heard Melody's partner scream. Before Cacio can press the attack, he found himself sparking but unable to move. The Luxray attempted once, the twice before looking at Mint who was just as confused as he was. He shrugged at the panther before Cacio began running at the giant Melody fish again. [break][break]

"Press the attack, close your gap!" He ordered as the Luxray sprinted at his opponent, fangs bared as he leapt at the colorful fish and attempted to CRUNCH down on the tail. Maybe it'd kill some of it's mobility.

Cacio lets out as grunt of satisfaction catching his fillet before the fish whips around like a miniature whirlpool. Cacio can't hold on from the force of the spin and is eventually smacked off. Due to the levitation still form Magnet Rise, the Luxray goes flying with ease, only stopping once he banged against something on the stage. The Luxray let out a hit. He'd been shaking off the past couple of hits pretty easily. "A crit?" Mint asked aloud looking down at his phone as he checked on Cacio's status. [break][break]

He'd taken a blow, probably due to the Aqua Tail and the smack with stage props. But he was still standing. although it took a moment for Cacio to pop back up on his feet again. Mint sees the wetness all over the arena but he has no idea what she's up to. Whatever. "C'mon Cacio, time for the climax!" He said as the Luxray's red eyes met his trainers before the pokemon let out a roar. As if practiced for dramatic effect, the second the roar ends there's a beat of silence before a barrier of electricity seemed to flash and coat the pokemon's fur. Energy thrummed in the air and there seemed to be a faint smell of ozone as Cacio moved. In a flash, he's already halfway accross the arena barreling towards Melody's Bruxish with Wild Charge, claws out and eyes locked on his prey. There's killer intent behind it. The kind only a King of the Forest could obtain challenge after rigorous challenge to his status. But he knows better than to truly hunt right now. Mint was watching, a hand on his pokeball ready to swap him out if he so much as drew blood.

Cacio landed the blow with reckless abandon. Electricity went wild immediately releasing like a lightening strike. The electric type hissed as leftover energy coursed into him as well, stinging and burning him as it rushed thru his body and then grounded onto the floor. The Luxray staggered, tired but still managing to stand. "Really?!" Mint asked while Cacio turned to glare at him in annoyance. Had he doubted a king's abilities? This impudent little- The growl building in his throat is silenced as a burst of light annoucned his next opponent. [break][break]

"W-We'll do our best!" he added as the Luxray's tail flicked in annoyance, still floating above the ground. When the blasts of fire fly towards him, Cacio is ready doing his best to dodge and hop out of the way. But his legs are shaky, and he'd used up so much energy on that last attack. There's a last ditch effort where the panther sparked once more, ready to put it all into one last Wild Charge but a blast of fire smacks him on the side of the head and sent him tumbling. Cacio doesn't skid to a held but eventually after ping ponging off the walls Mint finally called him back. "I thought you'd stop sooner rather than later..." he said, a vague apology for his partner. "Right, show much go on and all that!" he said taking a deep breath to steady himself before sending out Stracciatella. Amongst the magnetic field still clinging to the arena, the dual type let out a roar amidst the music to announce her presence on the stage. The minute she's on stage, Mint pulled up his hood. "Take cover!" he called out as a courtesy as the battlefield began to drop in temperature considerably. Soon enough bit's of ice were forming and dropping on top of them as his Abomasnow's SNOW WARNING took effect. [break][break]

Right, this might turn into a problem if he wasn't fast about this. Especially with Cacio down. He cupped a hand behind his ear flashing the long, tassel earring before grinning at his partner. It flashed with color and light, resonating with Stracciatella before she was engulfed in a rainbow light. "Aura Veil asap! Then brace yourself!" he called out as the Abomasnow grew in size before slamming heavy limbs on the ground as a shimmering aurora seemed to materialize around the pokemon.
