"Oh my gosh, a Noivern!" Andrea cried out in shock. "Quick, Meatloaf, use... uuuhm... Dragon Claw!" She ordered, but instead of attacking the Shelgon stared at her confusedly. "What's the matter? I guess you don't know how to use Dragon Claw, huh? How about a different move, like Dragon Breath or Dragon Pulse?" The girl proposed, but her Pokémon didn't seem to know what those were either. A bead of sweat hovered over her head. "Well, what moves do you know?"

Meatloaf responded by jumping at the wild Noivern and hitting it with a Double-Edge, hurting himself in the process and rolling backwards. Shaking the damage off, the airborne dragon retaliated by emitting a devastating Boomburst from its speaker-like ears. "Ngh... It's so loud!" Andrea grunted, covering her ears to no avail. "We need to run away safely!" She said, returning Meatloaf to his Pokéball and running towards a good hiding spot, hoping that the Noivern wouldn't care to look for them.

Andrea checked the coast. It looked clear. Swiping her forehead in relief that the Noivern had most likely retreated back into the caves, the young PokéManiac made her way to the more forest-y area of Route 115, cautiously on alert in case any new critters jumped out of the tall grass.

There she saw it... A creature that was not long for this world; Deformed and unrecognizable, its mere existence looked like an endless torment as it bumbled about on its clumsy legs, its slim neck barely able to hold its gigantic head. Andrea quietly watched this miserable being from a distance, but decided not to engage with it out of sheer pity for its unfathomable plight. Starting a battle would only escalate its pain and suffering.

The trainer of dragons wandered off to the beach, where she spotted a truly majestic noodle emerging from the sea, her eyes sparkling upon witnessing such a beautiful sight. "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh! You're so preeeeetty, I wanna hug you~!" The draconic cosplayer exclaimed, spreading her arms far and wide.

If the Dragonair could speak, it would tell the weirdly-dressed human that it would rather not get hugged by a total stranger and that she should respect its boundaries. Instead, it went for the more violent approach, attacking her with a Dragon Rage. Andrea channeled the reflexes of her ancestors by quickly rolling to the side and sending out two of her Pokémon to do battle with the wild one. "Go, Chomper, Meatloaf!"

Dragonair came ashore and swiped its water-coated tail at the two smaller dragons. Soggy and enraged, Chomper charged at the cerulean serpent, a powerful aura enveloping his diminutive form. "See that, Meatloaf? That move is called Outrage. Do you think you can do it?" Andrea hollered. Nodding, the Shelgon memorized the attack name and, copying Chomper's movements, hit Dragonair with an Outrage of his own.

"That's it! I'm proud of you both!" Andrea said, her words of praise filling her Pokémon with pride. Shuffling through her costume's pockets, she found one of her spare Pokéballs, which she hurled towards the serpentine dragon now that it had been weakened.
