The mission is a strange one for sure, but Mint had enough romantic fantasies on his own that he could spare a couple for ideas on how to make grouchy Pangoros mate. For life, perhaps? Did Pangoro’s mate for life? He knew Luvdiscs did… Whatever the case, he was giving it his all for the poor….possibly emotionally constipated Pangoros. Still, upon arrival at the facility and escorted into the waiting area, he’s excited at the realization that he knows his partner. [break][break]

“Elliot~!” he called out with a bright grin. He wouldn’t say they were friends or even particularly got along, but he was happy he sort of knew them. All his energy right now was going into the Pangoro Date. “Haven’t seen you since our date at the Casino!” he added with a bright grin. Unlike last time, he’d learned his lesson. Elliot was NOT a touchy-feely person, which was fine. He would adapt. He turned to look at the large glass panel that revealed a view to the Pangora habitat and disgruntled pair of bears. “What’ve we got?!”

There's the trill voice. Elliott closed his eyes, drew in a sharp breath. If he gritted his teeth any tighter, they would snap out of his mouth.

"It wasn't a date, Frost. It was a mission. Remember?"

If that was what Mint called a date, the man had some weird expectations. He turned around, his arms crossed defensively across his chest as he approached him. However, he wasn't touched, and it seemed that his partner was willing to start their task.

That was definitely something he'd appreciate.

"A couple of stubborn as fuck PANGOROS apparently. They don't want to fuck, even though they need to breed. Apparently, it's our job to figure out how to... get them going," he said, rubbing one of his hands over his face almost tiredly.

Glancing over, Eli raised a brow.

"Got anything insane in that strange head of yours?"

"Mmmm kindaaa~" Mint replied with a shrug. He definitely did, he just liked being a little pesky with Elliott. If only because the guy could be rude, why not get under his skin a bit? "Uh....kickstart breeding? That's kind of my specialty." He said giving the blonde a thumbs up. [break][break]

"Breeding can get tricky from time to time. I like to try to set the mood, leave some uh...treats out." He crushed Viagra and mixed it into the food. Rocket didn't have the patience to wait for 'true love to blossom' and Mint had quotas to meet. Or well he had. He was slowly moving out of the breeding job. Much like how he'd started showing up less and less to his daycare part time. He was too busy for that nowadays, and way too sore to be wrangling up baby pokemon. Or hyper aggressive wild pokemon. Especially the space distortion ones. Those had started trickling into the labs and...they didn't like being caged. More so than any other wild pokemon he'd encountered. [break][break]

"Lights! Perfume! Mood music! Their favorite foods!!" Mint said, pointing at Eli dramatically. "No one fucks if they're grumpy, and those two look like they hate each other." he said watching as the pair of Pangoros occasionally stared at their respective corners or...when something particularly heinous struck, threw something at the other. He reached for a pokeball, letting out his Unown X. "Xavier, I'm not sure, but you can levitate stuff off the floor right? For Manual labor?" he asked. The psychic type squinted at him, flashing their Hidden Power for a moment before it disappeared. "That a yes? I think that's a yes." he said before turning to Elliot. "Cue up your sexy playlist."

"What do you mean-"

Elliott stopped himself before he could get annoyed, taking a breath through his nose and sighing. Whatever. He didn't have time to deal with Mint's antics. They'd just get the mission done and be on their way.

However, the more that his partner explained what they could do, the more ridiculous it sounded. He held his hands against his face, rubbing his eyes tiredly. Then, he exclaimed,

"I don't have a sexy playlist! Who has a sexy playlist?" Elliott practically cried out, throwing his hands in the air.

"What do you mean what do I mean?!" Mint asked as he shoved his hands into his bag, reaching for his phone. Instead he found he had attempted to unlock the weird device Tempest Quinn had handed off to him. Like Mint had a clue how it worked. In the presence of Xavier though, it seemed to boot up and offer to sort of...scan it? Take a photo. "I wonder if this is just a really old phone prototype." he murmured as Xavier blinked at him, before moving away once the whole process was done. "Now about that psychic stuff?" Mint said looking back at his alphabet pokemon. [break][break]

At the revelation that Elliott didn't have a sexy times playlist, Mint turned to stare at him with doubt before realizing he wasn't kidding. "What's this? My little prince doesn't have one?" he asked, turning away from the blonde, but his tone indicated a very apparent tease. "No luck seducing any princesses? Tsk tsk." he said with a laugh as he moved about his business while his Unown tried and failed to lift anything. "Guess your Hidden Power won't cut it."

Elliott wanted to rip his hair out from the roots, strangle Mint, and throw him over a bridge. But that was impossible. At least right now it was.

"That's none of your business," he pointed out.

However, as much as this man was aggravating and threatening to drive Elliott to insanity, something about the floating "X" made him curious. He hadn't seen another Pokemon like his before.

"Where do you get that? The Pokemon, I mean," Eli clarified, pointing at the UNOWN.

"I have one. But it's a different shape."

Mint huffed at the blond, rolling his eyes as Elliott more or less not only confirmed he had no luck with any girls as of late, but also that he was a stick in the mud. "You're no fun. Maybe that's why you're not getting lucky." he said, a little snippier than he needed to be. He was more so annoyed that he wasn't going to get regaled by any new love life gossip he could live vicariously through. It made the work go slower. [break][break]

Xavier, despite the tension and lack of usefulness, was happy to float around their trainer, spinning idly in the air when gestured at and even moving to butt one of their limbs with Mint's head. He obliged the request, lifting a hand to scratch the back of the floating eyeball. "Him? Little guy followed me out of this cave adventure I had with my friend, Tempest Quinn ." Mint explained. Speaking off- He pulled out his phone and tapped on the app Temp's device had installed for him before looking over at Xavier. It prompted him for a moment before he held up and flashed a photo. "Can I see what shape you have? Maybe we could let them be friends! I don't know much about Unown other than...they show up in old ass art. Some people conspiracy theory them to be an old language etc etc." he shrugged. They kind of gave language to humans, in a way. At least the english alphabet.

Elliott's busy schedule hardly allowed time for fun and frisky business. However, that didn't mean he wasn't getting any. Not that he would convey that to mint frost.

Looking at the UNOWN, he pulled out the Poke ball that contained his own, an UNOWN D levitating at his side. He ignored the urge to make a snide comment about him having friends or keeping his weird ass Pokemon away from his.

Instead, Eli focused on the strange creatures, which seemed to catch the attention of the PANGOROS as well.

"So, like, ancient Pokemon, then."
