though it's nothing as grand as unova, it's fun nonetheless. it's always a treat when there's an event taking place in hoenn, and there's always a degree of excitement that the woman will openly express, regardless of her age. so here she is, with a pair of leafeon ears (so familiar, and in a lighthearted manner this time around) atop of her head after being given a pair by one of the staff. "just a little bit~" she chimes in response, eyes bright as she walks along, staying close as to not lose her way "i'm quite enjoying it, myself~" her eyes glance around to the rides set up and around, before she nudges at the man next to her "have you seen anything you'd like to hop on?~"

Although a particular attraction had already been in his mind as they properly entered, he gave a low, seemingly thoughtful hum to himself as if pondering her words and question. Before long, however, he glanced her way before nodding towards her direction and briefly lifting his gaze towards it. ”I did have an idea of one, as…sappy as it may be~,” he responded with a touch of amusement within his tone.[break][break]

Upon tracing his gaze, she would notice notice some sort of love tunnel-like attractions.

she had a few ideas, though his probably took the cake. when he points to the tunnel, her eyes follow his finger, and a bright smile tugs at the corner of her lips. her reaction, likewise, was to hook an arm around his with the intention to tug him over to the attractions. "not too sappy~" she responds. it means it gave her some private time with him. [break][break]

or.. as private as they could get in the public. close enough.

”Hah~. ‘Not too sappy,’ you say…” he hummed in response, eying her for a shorter while longer before allowing his gaze to drift back towards the aforementioned attraction once more. While a number of neighboring fairgoers came and went around them, he narrowed his eyes with a pensive smile as he pondered his own biases a while longer.[break][break]

Before long, he merely gave a sigh before looking back to her and offering a hand.[break][break]

”...Mmn… Shall we, then~?”

quick to take his hand, as always. a bright smile to her lips is a familiar sight, and she's quick to twine their fingers as her arm hooks around his. who can blame her if she wants to get close? [break][break]

"of course~" maybe she's a little too excited, maybe she's a bit too excited to go into the little love tunnel with him, but she'll take any alone time and monopolize it. she's clingy like that. "there isn't too much of a line, so it shouldn't take long to get on~"

Seeing and feeling her take to him so quickly was always something to be welcomed.[break][break]

Instinctively, his smile broadened as she returned the hold and held onto his arm so eagerly; a duo of actions that prompted him to softly squeeze her hand as they walked along. ”Mmn. It does seem like people are getting off and on somewhat quickly, too~...” he mused absentmindedly, briefly lifting her hand up. He pressed his lips against her knuckles gently before lowering it again. ”Hm~... I do hope it’s good, though. Rides like that are the same anywhere, but seeing it firsthand would probably be a precursor for how good the rest of the faire will be…”

the sudden acts of affection always get her, and never fail to bring a rosy smile to her face. his lips are tender against her hand, and she returns this gesture by pulling herself over to give him a quick peck on his cheek in return, before turning back to their path. [break][break]

"lets go, then~. the line's moving, and i think we'll be able to hop on~" had she maintained the leafeon tail from the mission, it'd be swaying and waving in anticipation as they approach the boat docked to the side. and just as she said, they were able to climb into the boat sooner, with the line moving rather quickly.

His initial response had been nothing more than an idling hum of content amusement, whether it was simply from her eagerness of continuing along, or in reaction to the returned gesture and touch that he couldn’t help but linger upon.[break][break]

Nevertheless, he allowed her to pull him along, all while azure hues eyed both the line and the attraction before them as they fell behind those that arrived first. Lo and behold, however, the line indeed moved quicker than he truthfully expected, and as he slipped into his own seat, he continuously offered a hand towards her in order to help her follow after him.[break][break]

It would’ve been a shame if she fell, after all.[break][break]

”...Ah. Also, this goes without saying, amore~...” he began, giving her a playfully coy glance from the corner of his eye as a knowing smile tugged upon his lips. ”As much as I personally wouldn’t mind it, maybe you should keep any antics you might be thinking of to yourself— just this once, at least~.”[break][break]

He pursed his lips at her in mock judgment, though leaned back against his own part of the seat while taking her hand once more, nonetheless.[break][break]

”...There are a fair amount of children here, after all— and we can’t be too sure of how many employees are inside ensuring everything is in working order~.”

"i would never~" she feigns offence, poorly, with a mile on her lips and a giggle escaping her. still, she take his hand onto the boat and leans against his chest and arm immediately, and the space is so cozy, like it was made specifically for her. shameless as she is, she would never. probably. maybe. [break][break]

.. mm.. no, for her, she'd definitely try something in the dark. but for the time being, she'll be good, and keep her fingers twined with his as the boat begins to float down the body of water, into the darkness of the tunnel. and though he tells her not to do anything, that doesn't stop her from tugging his sleeve, slightly, to pull him closer to her level in the dark, to lock their lips in a warm, innocuous kiss. just a kiss will be fine, for now.
