months prior, he’d gotten quick word of never before seen, rare horses appearing after carrots grown from strange seeds on mt pyre and in shoal cave. since then, he’d been looking for something similar. however, during his search, he had come upon something else. gracidea seeds, also rumored to be quite special.

he walked through the wood. petalburg blossomed in spring, rendering it a beautiful pastel wonderland of its own. the pink reflected on his aging face in bright, warm daylight as he walked towards a place to test his green thumb.

How bad was he as a plant parent?

Definitely up there on the list…

He really needed to keep track of the seeds that he’d gotten… that was weird. Had to go out to a certain place to plant them? And then just… let them grow? It was strange. Did they not need water?

So he’d made the trip today, and showed up with an old, battered-looking watering can that had a hilarious Psyduck design on it.

…yeah, the thing looked like it was on its last legs, but it still held enough water for a singular trip.

“You’re not the first person I’ve seen around here,” he remarked at the sight of the other man.

glancing back down the way, and around at his environment briefly, he turned back again.

he looked down at the psyduck pail.
