Luka eyes the pile of baking supplies that line her spotless countertop: stainless steel bowls and heart shaped molds and bags and bags of bakers chocolate. Pots and pans and silverware, mixers that gleam and a stovetop without even a speck of grime.[break][break]

Her kitchen isn't so clean because she's fastidiously neat, but because it's rarely used. That much is clear by the way she peers dubiously at all the tools spread out in front of her, picking up a whisk cautiously, like she's never held one before.[break][break]

"I looked up a bunch of tutorials...but I can barely remember anything. Do you, um...do you have any idea what you're doing, Lux?"[break][break]

Baking was always an activity that brought his family together. Luckily all those days spent baking for fun came in handy and he was able to help Luka with her predicament.[break][break]
After securing a firm knot in the back of his pink apron Lux then smiles her way, ready to help in any way he can. [break][break]
“Well, Luka. It all depends on what you want to make. You seem to have quite the selection spread out here.” They chuckle lightly. She was either very eager or extremely unprepared, though he easily figured out which one stood out more. [break][break]
“You could make cupcakes, solid chocolate hearts. What else..” [break][break]
As he lists out a few more options aloud his attention is directed to Sirius, who’s banging pots and pans together as a mock drum set. Lux puts a stop to that real quick, handing the Meowstic one of the shaker toys from his pocket instead. He continues talking nonchalantly all while doing this. [break][break]
“Really, it all depends on what the other person likes. And whatever that may be, I'm here to guide you through it!” [break][break]

"I want to make! I want to make, um..." Luka's cheeks flush, gaze suddenly downcast. A sappy smile threads through the corners of her mouth.[break][break]

"Something for my boyfriend...s-something romantic. I've always wanted to make chocolates for the person I lo- like. Like!"[break][break]

The near slip of the tongue has her momentarily paralyzed. She hasn't even made a confession to Remiel Calcifet yet! Her ears burn, and she blesses Sirius' noise as a distraction. The clang of pots and pans muffle her words and help conceal a premature confession. [break][break]

And yet she continues to fluster and fumble, crimson-cheeked as she fiddles nervously with the hem of her apron. Meanwhile, on the counter, her Alcremie shuffles through ingredients with an expert eye. She eventually pulls out a carton of strawberries and chirps excitedly.[break][break]

"Oh...oh! Um...m-maybe something with strawberries? Chocolate covered? Ah, but I still want to make regular chocolates too...gosh, t-this is going to be a lot of work!"[break][break]
