It's like his training with Rowan Wrynn again it seemed. Different area, different safehouse. Still dingy. Still run down, still shitty. No doubt when he entered with bryan delarosa he'd find bloodstains and smell shit. Despite Sootpolis being freed by Rocket, the city was blessed with an overcast night. It's so dark, and the light dripping of rain only made it all the worse. [break][break]

He'd asked for this, he reminded himself. Chu-e Choi had warned him, but he'd also believed in him. And who was he if not resilient? He'd survived before, he'd do it again. He'd survive anything now. Otherwise...what else was there for him in this kind of place? He's a few minutes early, the nerves of being told they wouldn't be doing training in the practice rooms setting him on edge. The second he'd gotten a location sent to his burner, alarms had gone off in his head. [break][break]

It's why he showed up disguised. Makeup, wig, dark tight clothes. The usual when it came to being put through phycological evaluation or whatever the 'mind fucking your grunts' training was called. He knocked on the door, as ordered, twice. There's a pause before he knocked once more. A pause again for another two times. Now he just...waited. "I'm here for our talk." he would say the moment he heard shuffling near the door.

He had allowed for mint frost to take the lead on this mission, Bryan's brain had too many thoughts already to spare on what he should and shouldn't do. It wasn't his place to have such things. [break][break]

He didn't even really remember what they were doing, the faintest smell of whiskey lingered on him as he was drinking a lot more often now. The light had left his life and only a husk remained, one that wouldn't perish. Nothing he did to harm his health mattered so who cared? [break][break]

"This place fucking stinks." he comments to mint, not wanting to be here anymore already. "The fuck are we doing here again?" he asked with a smidge more of annoyance added to his tone.

Pale blue eyes flickered over to the Beast, vaguely noting Bryan seemed a bit less cheery than he was used to. Then again, he'd seen the guy twice so maybe that had been a rarity. "Yeah." came the quick agreement before adding, "Cillian Quinn got intel on a few people skittsh about Sootopolis' take over. One's actually been caught with League agents." his voice strained to stay level. [break][break]

"It...It's less of a talk now and ...well, you have a psychic type right?" he said, frowning under his mask. "Blunt force trauma works too." he added, more or less alluding to the the fact that perhaps murder wasn't in the cards, but making damn sure more warehouses didn't get raided was. The door isn't answered and Mint tried the door, checking if it was open. As he does, another person yanked it open looking haggard and nervous. "Good evening!" Mint blurted out, tony cheery as usual despite the grim circumstances.

"I have both options available." he says "But I prefer blunt force." he told him as the door finally open. Regardless of their answer or inclination Bryan walked in as if he owned the place. "You already know why we're here." he told them as he took a nearby chair spun it around and sat on it. [break][break]

He opened a flask of whiskey and took a swig of it. "So just be upfront and tell him everything." he says pointing the bottle towards his partner and took a swig of the whiskey.

Mint only offered a nod to the Beast before pale green eyes moved towards the darkened house. It seemed normal. A little dingy but...ok now that he stepped in, it looked like it was a bit in disarray. Their target fumbled out of the kitchenette, a few shelf items in hand. Mint looked over at Bryan, quietly noting the flask despite already being a little hung over from earlier. It's something he squirrels away for later, not wanting to break the unified front thing they had going on. [break][break]

"I just have something we're looking into. I want an honest answer, and when I get it, me and my friend will take our leave." His tone is professional, expression shifting into something a little more placid and neutral. He'd seen the photos, knew that at least one of the agents living in this house had been seen and caught with League agents. Just had to dig a smidge deeper to see if the other people were involved. "I-I don't know what you're talking about- The shit with Marion- That's his fuckin'; business." [break][break]

"What business?" Mint asked, interrupting the frazzled man. There's a stuttering and Mint gesture at the table. "Take a seat." He stayed standing. Right. He took a deep breath and tried to remember the tips Chu-e Choi had given him. People were like animals, when cornered they would absolutely attack. But the looks of this guy, he might if he pushed too hard. He wanted answers first. And it was a better challenge if he did it without violence. [break][break]

Eyes flash towards Bryan and then back at Mint. "The- The..." he couldn't bring himself to say it. "Look. Whatever Marion's done, got nothin' to do with me." He's stubborn. Mint mulled this over. He gave Bryan another glance unsure how to proceed.

He groaned when mint looked over at him. "You all never make it fucking easy do you?" he says getting up from his chair. "This isn't my fucking first rodeo bud. I don't care if their shit had nothing to do with you. We know you know more, so either you tell us. or." he warns as he moves over towards the wall. [break][break]

Bryan was certainly not chu-e, his lessons were lost on the man who no longer had a moral compass. His heart died with her, leaving a void only priam could fill. [break][break]

He cracked his knuckle before punching the wall, using his super strength to crack and destroy a portion of it. "Or I do this to your face. Understand?" he says moved back over to the chair, plopping his ass back down. "Now speak. mint frost is a lot nicer than I am and my patience is running thin."
