A measured, polite smile gracing his features, Húxiān Tianyu inclines his head graciously after his introduction, the man's brilliant scarlet gaze trained upon his interviewer instead of the cameraman swinging a boom overhead. "The pleasure is mine, thank you for having me." Tianyu answers in a rich baritone, one leg throwing over the other with an air of utmost confidence.

"Tell us, Chairman Húxiān, what's brought your company to Hoenn?" A sly, devilish look overcoming the interviewer's features, they confide, "There's rumours flying about an association with Kanto's Rocket faction."

His hand making an elegant sweeping motion in response, Tianyu replies warmly, "Tabloids. You shouldn't believe everything you read. Let's not bring poor journalism into such a lovely conversation." His smile charming, the man gives a low, surprised laugh as a Fennekin abruptly jumps into his lap. "As I was saying," Tianyu drawls pleasantly, his slender fingers lightly scratching behind the fox's ears. "Fennekin Pharmaceuticals is a family-owned company expanding our horizons. We have a new board - new members - since the retirement of my father. Aren't we all looking forwards to a new future? What brighter one could we find than expanding into Hoenn?"

"That's certainly a flattering observation," the interviewer suggests.

"And why shouldn't we be flattering to our new home? New jobs will surely help the economy after all of this," Tianyu pauses a moment, sniffling lightly, before suggesting in a delicate tone, "unrest. Stability is just what Hoenn needs, and Fennekin Pharmaceuticals can help ease the Region towards that goal. Can't it?" He directs the question instead to the Fennekin in his lap, the silver-and-red fox in question wagging dozily in response.

The interview concludes without a hitch, affable pleasantries exchanged as well as bows and handshakes before Tianyu is ushered from the studio and towards an awaiting car. His phone fished out of his robe's pocket, he dials a number and drawls languidly into the line, "Shì. I'm done." Flashing a quick smile to his nearby bodyguard, Tianyu shuffles inside the confines of the car. "No, that last one was with that reporter BARNABY FINCH . This was the local station."

Producing a cigarette which he lights effortlessly, the smoke blown absently towards the roof of the vehicle, a low laugh rumbles from Tianyu's chest as he listens. "Well then, kill him," comes the simple answer, his reply momentarily halted as he takes in another lungful of smoke. "I don't know, make it look like an accident. You're creative."

"Mhm," comes his absent drawl. "Hǎohao zhàogù zìjǐ."

Silencing the line, Tianyu pats the top of the car's roof to signal his readiness for departure. Sinking comfortably back into the plush leather of the seat's cushions a languid smile touches his lips as the little Fennekin slinks into his lap. "Won't this be a fun venture," he asks the beast indulgently, his chuckle reverberating through the cabin. Finally lifting his gaze, a fond look overcomes the man as he comes eye to eye with a Ninetales vixen sprawled across the opposite seat.

Tianyu lays one arm upon the windowsill, his head coming to rest against his fore-and-middle fingers while he observes the elegant Pokémon. Quirking a half a smile, Tianyu hums a pleasant note as he greets, "Daji."

"We'll root out the last of those rabid dogs, don't worry."
[break][break]
Overhead the threatening storm finally breaks, filling Tianyu's world with the soft patter of rain against the darkly-tinted glass windows. A cleansing start to the beginnings of some very blood business.
