Onward, he continued.

He knew he had to find either one or the other; anything else was just going to be a bonus…

…although the possibility of encountering a Rotom that was possessed by a fridge was… pretty low, if not outright impossible. But who knew?

Either way, he continued his hike, the search for one of two Ice-types…

“Really?”

He knew he’d met a younger version of this Pokémon earlier, but for the full-grown one to come chasing right after him?

“Look, I didn’t catch your kid, they’re over there somewhere,” he gestured, waving in a random direction before sidestepping across the Vanilluxe and letting the other Pokémon follow its spawn.

The next thing that he came across, was, well, potentially a nightmare if one didn’t have enough money to shell out for its near-bottomless appetite.

Thank hell his own Snom had already evolved and was absolutely over eating gigantic servings of food, so there was that.

But who could resist those cute widdle soft mandibles, though?

“Go on, shoo!” he continued, waving his hand at the Snom that was practically rolling along the slippery surface that he happened to walk by.

“Oh, come on. At least you’re not like Koude,” he remarked as he blinked and outright started at the calm, quiet Abomasnow that was lumbering through the cave.

Looks like today was a bit of a bust, all things considering since he came out here to look for either a Sneasel or a Bergmite… for reasons.

Ah, hell, he’d be back in a few weeks anyway.

The Abomasnow turned to face him, but all he did was wave his hand in a dismissive gesture.

“I’m not going to displace you. Go on!” he muttered to himself, turning tail and making his way out of Shoal Cave.
