Gavin steps carefully around a new patch of Crystablooms as he patrols the interior of the Tree of Life. He frowns as he notes the distance between a stake pushed into the soil and the edge of the current growth. They're multiplying quickly.

He'd sent the samples procured with jayden cross to their scientists for testing, but that had been one of the first days since the growths had been discovered. Since then, the flowers had spread like a luminescent carpet across the forest floor. They were, admittedly, quite beautiful — but Gavin feels strangely threatened, as well, if only by the mystery of it all.

The Riolu who'd been with Cross and the underboss at the time is with him now, as well, seeming to feed off Gavin's aura as it fidgets nervously.

He's not here to survey, has no stake to mark the progress, but he wakes his Rotom phone and has it take pictures to forward to the scientists.
