It'd been a month since Felix originally received Intel on Angelo, and two weeks since he initially acted on it.

He started out small: short bursts of time spent looking into the rising pilot's history, connections, and the like. Then he progressed to small trips out west, tracing the footprints of his documentations, only to get a sense of his movements and odd habits.

All for it to lead him here.

Stationed way off to the east, Felix's sharp gaze following the outline of his flygon, who'd been tasked with discreetly following the man's movements. Up and down, the bird pokemon weaved through the mountain outlines, granting his trainer the smallest of hints as to the movements of the pilot, all until he descended down meteor falls.

"Let's go."

Rushing into the woodland, he followed every footstep Angelo made, mimicking the same movements he'd been watching for the past week.

His hands went through a series of gestures towards a shadowy specter that loomed over to his right. Then, with the final gesture going through, it left his side, spitting out towards the lone pilot. From above, where the Flygon still flew, a vibration of green soundwaves rained down, creating a series of unbearable tunes that would disarm any unsuspecting victim within it's radius (BUG BUZZ).

If angelo shows to be disarmed by this sudden explosion of sound, the Dusclops would erupt from the shadows and cast BIND around his body, with the intention of disabling all forms of movement. But, if the sudden shriek of nose doesn't seem to have a notable affect, he'd remain within the shadows in wait for an opportunity.

"Tch."

A shot of air blew out from his nostrils. Losing a golden opportunity always stung the most, especially when you're dealing with a potential avatar, or worse, the legendary itself. But he didn't have the luxury of wallowing-- there was still work to be done. Nodding, Felix broke into a stealthy sprint towards Angelo's left, while Gallade took the right. His hand gripped at the blade kept at his side. One slice and he'd be down, all thanks to Elisabeth Fiorelli's paralytic poison.

Flygon, who still buzzed overhead, circled from above, creating vibration with his wings. Noticing his trainer's movement, the dragon type knew full well it was time to shift to the next part of this battle: disruption. Flapping his wings together, the dragonfly pokemon swept up a wave of sand, clouding the space around them with speckles of oranges and browns. This, tied with the shade of the trees, created a blanket of concealment that made sight a battle.

Dusclops, who'd been hit by the bind, used SHADOW SNEAK to slip over into the fray. Ideally, with the cover of sand and trees, Gallade would flank from Angelo's left, while Dusclops would aim to appear behind him, either using the opportunity to grab him or pressure him to be hit by Gallade's PSYCHO CUT. From a far, the Flygon would continue to flap it's wings, fanning the SANDSTORM around them. And, of course, there was Felix, who was situated far behind, ready to catch out Angelo if he managed to slip.

The arrow poked out from the shroud of sand, and while the Flygon had limited time to see its line of travel, the flash of red had given him enough of a headstart to be on the defensive for its arrival. Dipping to his left, he nearly missed the attack, but in return, he was forced outta position.

Where one barely succeeded, the other failed. Without much time to react, the SUCKER PUNCH landed, smacking the Gallade across the face. Given the type advantage, it pushed gallade aback a good bit, and his body, in return, slunk back into the wave of flying sand.

Dusclops, on the other hand, fully succeeds in his efforts. Red eyes shining through the sand, the spectral figure found his hands roughly securing the escaping man, not too far from the center of where the sandstorm had formed. Tight and unrelenting, he lifted the man an inch off the ground, all while his trainer approached him from the shadows of the treeline.

Within the time it took to pop out from the shadows and move towards the entrapped man, Felix had slipped on a black face covering (LIKE KAKASHI) and a pair of protective goggles.

"..."

Silent, Felix threw his arms into an X over his face, blocking the initial boot kick. It certainly left a mark on his arms, but the impact was dull enough to be ignored. Bringing his arms back down, his left-hand goes for the blade it was previously tracing, pulling it out slow enough to hopefully retain the captive's attention.

"Latias, where is it?"

- Flygon dives down to dodge the arrow.
- Gallade gets hit by sucker punch and falls back into the sandstorm

Eyes narrowed down at the pilot, cautious and lightly annoyed. This was taking too long. Felix needed the information, and he needed now, with or without the man's consent.

He took another step forward, the knife's blade now glimmering beneath sun's gaze. Sand still sputtered and spined around them, hitting the pinnacle of it's strength, all while Flygon zoomed over the skyline, offering a futile attempt to evade the Decidueye's watchful gaze.

Up, down, right, left, the green dragon zoomed, eye protectors shielding it's eyes from the blinding spits of sand. He made sure to use this to advantage and kept low enough to be shielded by it's protective presence. Though, the moment the avian flew too close to the outer edge of the storm, he'd be prepared to rush out using DRAGON RUSH to bridge the gap between them.

From below, Dusclops sunk into another SHADOW SNEAK, managing to evade both the incoming attacks, but losing his grip on the target in the process. Felix, who was stuck dodging an incoming ray of electricity, also fell to the side and was forced out of position.

"GALLADE GO WEST," Felix's voice carried fast across the field, reaching the lurking Fighting type within the matter of seconds. Swift and ready to engage, the Gallade TELEPORTED to the other side of the field. Given his lack of specific direction, it was hard to say if he managed to completely curtail Angelo's escape, or if it would have to take Felix's rapid approach to force the man back into the corner.

When the ghostly arrow comes, Flygon is already prepared, as his sights were already set up towards the avian. Rather than evading through flight, the dragon-type takes to the ground, using DIG to move towards Felix and Gallade. Similar to Decidueye, he had discarded the worth of their exchange and preferred running to the aid of his trainer.

Dusclops, in a similar vein, trailed to the left of his trainer, using the trees as coverage while Felix chose to rush straight through. He knew if he didn't, the chance of losing his target would increase, and he didn't have the luxury of letting that happen. Not after exposing his intentions.

The dust began to settle, and as it did, Felix had finally found the familiar silhouette of his Gallade's back.

"Gallade us-"

Before the directive could come through, a ray shot out from their west, carving at the ground between them and Angelo. Its source? The blue devil himself.

Thankfully, Gallade managed to avoid its deathly beam by a hair, but of course, this meant only furthering himself from the target. Again.

Narrowed eyes peeked from above the mask, staring at the legendary, blank in emotion. Was it here to protect him?

It didn't matter.

"Dusclops!"

Upon hearing his voice, the ghost pokemon emerged from the opposing direction, his red eye eerily shining through the shrubbery. His hands move forward, flicking each finger, back and forth, as it placed a CURSE on Latios. Gallade, on the other hand, moved back towards Felix, taking a more defensive stance. If one were attacked, he'd be there to protect.

The momentary victory of the CURSE hitting was enough to distract the ghost type from the next incoming attack. PSYCHIC hits, and thanks to his similarly cursed body, it hits him hard.

Stumbling, the Pokémon was barely able to stay on his feet after impact. It was now CRITICALLY LOW. But, if he was going down, he was going to go down fighting. With the last of his dwindling strength, he packed ice around his fist, coating the outer layer of his knuckles until it became more of a gauntlet. With it, he rushed forward, looking to pelt the Latios with an ICE PUNCH.

Felix, much like Dusclops, wasn't in the base shape. While Gallade, who was already in his defensive stance, was able to evade the PHANTOM FORCE, Felix wasn't as agile, nor prepared for it.
 
"Fuck!" His voice cracked out as Angelo took hold of his wrist. It'd been a while since the last time someone was able to take hold of him like this, which meant reflecting its prowess was harder than it should've been. Thankfully, Flygon, who had followed via DIG, was now close to enough to spring up from the ground between them, claws aimed at Angelo's arms and chest.

If this attack was enough to separate them, Felix would be left breathing heavily through the mask, eyes blankly staring back at Angelo.

"Just stop resisting."

- Dusclops is CRITICALLY LOW (even a lil air would be enough)

The ICE PUNCH consumed the last of Dusclops' energy, as he fell to the ground a second later. Flygon, on the other hand, whose claw's clanged against the steeled grass blade, grunted out as he leaned backward towards his trainer.

"It'd be easier than this," Felix grunted, his composure regained and solidified. From the corner of his eye, the blur of blue made itself known, allowing both him and Gallade the opportunity to respond. A wall of blocky orange lifted up before them, blocking all frontal angles in the form of a WIDE GUARD from Gallade. While he put this up, Felix shifted to the side, using the opportunity to attempt to grab onto Angelo, and press his unsheathed knife to his neck. Flygon helped in this endeavor as he provided pressure onto the opposing side of the man, with the aim of enclosing him into a tighter space.
