It had been months since the man had showed up on this mountain. Last time he had been around was when he was still hanging with Glastrier and met an old friend of his. Since then... It didn't seem like nothing had changed much. Except the growth of the seed the Alolan had left behind.[break][break]

Upon inspection, the growth seemed almost complete. Only a few days and it would serve the purpose it was meant to be. "Good. Seems like my absence worked in my favor for once..." The man stood up, then looked around. Best to stick around, and ensure that nothing would try and disturb the growth of the spectral carrot.

A Sigilyph had shown itself, wandering aimlessly around. Or was it attracted by the energy of the carrot in development? Nevertheless, letting it keep on going around the surrounding area could prove to be problematic for the development of this vegetable.[break][break]

Balder called upon his Dusknoir. The giant ghost looked at its oponnent and snickered softly. After facing crazy Megalopolans and their Ultra Beasts, a mere Sigilyph felt like a joke. But an enemy shouldn't be underestimated, thus the ghost didn't hesitate to assault right away with a Shadow Punch to send it reeling. Whilst it was trying to recover, a Thunder Punch served to render it unconcious.[break][break]

And thus, the Alolan's watch continued.[break]

As if in defiance, it was now a Dusclops that made its way to their location. Instead of the usual Pressure from this specie, it was frisking around to find the source of spectral energie it was sensing. Another treat to the special carrot.[break][break]

The Dusknoir decided to exert it's Pressure as it advanced towards the Dusclops. As darkness covered its fist, the bigger ghost proceeded to push back the frisking creature. It didn't take long for him to clear the scene, forcing the invading Dusclops to flee and go back where it came from.[break][break]

Now Balder had to determine a way to ensure permanent protection over the carrot...[break][break]
