kyle looks around the place, trying to see if there were any people around. once confirmed that there were none, he gives the go ahead for his pokemon with a whistle.

his solgaleo, who looks way out of its element in the wild, fires off a weaker version of springtide storm, displaying its effects in front of kyle's smeargle.

the sketch ensues as the pokemon copies the move for its own arsenal with sketch.

as kyle watches his pokemon perform the same exact thing he does when he gets a smeargle to change its moveset, he still gets bewildered with the conditions of the move bestowed upon them.

it's a different kind of tutor, which kyle swears is some sort of actual blessing akin to an avatar power instead of a move. the only difference is that it's for pokemon instead of humans, and that there was no conditions attached unlike legends who grant people their powers.

the solgaleo tightens its defenses with cosmic power when it senses another psychic-type approaching the vicinity.

kyle whips his head around to look for the source of his pokemon's anxiety, finding a lone reuniclus by the corner of his eyes. it almost blends with the green of the trees, but kyle wasn't blind at least.

he chuckles, recalls his smeargle because it's done its job, and eases the solgaleo by pushing its head away from the wild pokemon.

it reminded him of dahlia's reuniclus, which was dead. he wasn't there when it got exploded on and turned it to jello, but he assumed it was probably as comedic as it was in games when slimes get crushed.

thinking that his solgaleo is probably too much for wild pokemon, kyle recalls the pokemon.

on its place was a mightyena. it immediately barks with a happy tune, one that echoes throughout the wilds, receiving the aggression of nearby pokemon who has this part of the forests as their territory.

a bouffalant appears and starts to charge at them. the mightyena manages to dodge, leaving the pokemon to hit a double team copy and letting it charge the entire distance away until it hits an obstacle.

before it happens, kyle grabs the pokemon by its torso and brings it along with him, escaping the scene.

the mightyena grows heavy on his arms, which he eventually ends up recalling as they make their escape.

kyle catches his breath as he slumps to his knees, only to hear a faint jingle to disturb the moment's rest. with his head being dragged back up, he sees a chingling making noise.

unable to get himself to be bothered with dealing with the pokemon himself, he lets his own do it instead. he takes out one other pokemon, another mightyena similar to the one he just recalled, and gestures with his hand to deal with the chingling.

instead of doing what was expected of it, the pokemon decides to sing with a howl instead. the chingling joins in the chorus and makes its own chiming sounds.

as the two pokemon make their own music, kyle decides to chuck a pokeball at the chingling to shut the pair up.
