Leaning casually against the photocopy machine, the youth tilted his head slightly at Eris as the copies of the texts printed out, tilting a brow.

"Why not?" He asked simply, his eyes moving away from hers to look around the massive library. Being such a historical landmark site for Galar, it wasn't too surprising that Hammerlocke's premier Library was impressively stacked. Though... "Well, I suppose we ain't got enough time to scour every book here."

Even if he brought all of his Orbeetles, it would probably take a while too long. Pushing off the printer as the last copy came out, he picked up the stack of copies and slid them neatly inside a folder before turning towards the girl, folder under his pit as he pocketed his hands.

"So!" He began to say. "I got a match scheduled at Hammerlocke stadium in..."

He glanced over at a large clock hung on the library's wall.

"3 hours, give or take." He said, before grinning at Eris. "Wanna discuss these over a burger?"

He had been surprised to find a nice looking joint here in tea land, and he wasn't about to let his discovery go to waste.

Not tied to the region? The youth tilted his head and frowned, thinking very briefly before giving up.

"If you say so." He finally said with a shrug, choosing to just trust the expert on this one. "Let me know if ya need a lift anywhere- I've got a busy schedule for the rest o'the month- I'll be playin' Mr. Worldwide for a bit."

Galar, then Sinnoh, then Unova, then Kalos, and finally back to Hoenn after that. The life of a pro-battler, traveling between regions to fight in big stadiums, did not feel quite as glamorous as it had seemed from afar when he was a little boy, but he had expected as much.

"Right now? A burger joint." He said to her question as he led them into a small family run place near Hammerlocke stadium; the place was packed due to the many battles that would soon be taking place inside the stadium, but they still managed to find a place to seat. "... What do ya think the whole 'black knight' verse even meant?"

A great hero... he couldn't help but be drawn to the word, even if it didn't fit him one bit.

"Returned from 'whence' he came." Doug echoed before snorting, turning a grin to the other girl. "Doesn't sound like it meant his home region."
