despite appearances, vallen was having a great day.

even though an ekans wrapped itself around his neck, arms, and even his torso, he showed no signs of it slowing him down. most would've been uncomfortable being at the mercy of a pokemon like this, but vallen knew better.

his snakes wouldn't hurt him. not until the day he was too pathetic to earn their loyalty.

a sigh escapes his lips, the obnoxious kind that accomponies an "ahhhh." vallen cracks his neck, an impressive feat considering the weight around it, and takes in the day.

it didn't, not really; underboss or no underboss, delving into the inter-personal relationships of ones subordinates was a taboo that few crossed. then again, the intent didn't seem nefarious, so vallen chalks it up as 'locker room talk'.

at least, that's the intention he aims to give off. in reality, he files away the pervasive question into a mental database. in the nearby grass one of his snakes is wrapped in up in the strong-arm grip of a quilladin. she finds enjoyment, evident by her laughter, as she wrangles the snake above her head.
