So, as you’d probably have guessed, she pulled one of the capsules she’d been given into her hands before tossing it towards Little Blue and his floppy ass…ears? She assumed they were ears, anyways, but honestly, she was never entirely sure whenever she saw one cross her path.[break][break]

Regardless, though, she walked by to pick the Pokeball up before making her way to the shoreline, crouching down to begin her examinations of the waters and the nearby areas.[break][break]

Everything seemed more than passable, as far as she was concerned.[break][break]

Clean waters, lack of debris, healthy Pokemon— the norm was all there was to be expected from the scan she did as she walked along the shoreline. Of course, there was more to see in the area, though, so after finalizing a small walk along the perimeter of the waters, she glanced across the clearing once more before directing her attention towards a lush array of greenery in the distance before making her way towards it.[break][break]

Not without spotting a couple Pokemon along the way and tossing a couple treats for them, though.[break]

Hold the fuck up.[break][break]

There was something she noted from the corner of her eye, and it was honestly thanks to the fact that she was more or less passing and tossing little treats and the like around like a flower girl at someone’s wedding. After a few throws, she noted a small, almost pained chirp not too long after some of the snacks would’ve landed, and after looking back in the direction it came from, she narrowed her eyes before finding the source.[break][break]

She stared at a little Rowlet on the ground, seemingly with an injured wing.[break]
…And also a treat right next to it.[break][break]

Oh my fucking God, I think I just pelted it.[break][break]

With that realization, she’d already been on her way to check up on the bird. Softly humming and clicking her tongue, she pursed her lips as she took a knee and cooed softly towards the owlet, furrowing her brows as she began to gently—ever so gently—begin a light examination.[break][break]

”Aw… You fell outta one of the trees, didn’t you…?” she hummed softly, eying the treat with a light sigh. Amber hues lingered upon the fledgling in thought for a little while longer before she quickly plucked another Safari Ball from her belt, tapping it carefully and softly upon the top of the bird’s head.[break][break]

”Fell and got immediately nailed by some bitch throwing food…” She clicked her tongue, standing up with the newly occupied capsule in hand. ”...Man, I feel baaaaad, now…”[break][break]

There was still a job to be done, after all, and although she may have intertwined her own pleasure amidst the job, the reason she had been there was still for a job, altogether. …That, and knowing how easily distracted she could be sometimes, she figured it’d be better to actually focus up a bit more.[break][break]

She did pass a few more treats along the way again, though.[break]

A simple reminder, but one that hadn’t gone with any minor distractions in light of her surroundings— because after all, it was still in the job requirements to look around, in those moments. After some time, she’d brought it upon herself to tuck the pouch upon her belt away, sealing it before bringing herself into a jog to and fro in order to properly and accurately survey each of the other parts of the zone.[break][break]

It hadn’t been until she’d successfully and actually patrolled the greater majority of the area that she finally let herself take a breather in the form of meeting eyes with a floating…rock. Well, not exactly a rock. She knew what it was at first glance, but like…[break][break]

…Yeah. All things considered, it was still a rock.[break][break]

A rock that she eyed before giving a simple pat in passing on her way to the last portion of the area that she remembered hadn’t been searched just yet.[break][break]

…It was hard to stay focused after a longer while.[break][break]

Specifically after realizing that there seemed to be a little drake on her tail through the whole time she’d convinced herself to keep her eyes forward and on little more than what she’d been there to accomplish. Honestly speaking, she hadn’t exactly known when the little thing even appeared, to begin with, but every so often, she just did her normal thing before making her way to another part of the zone.[break][break]

A band aid fix, really.[break][break]

There were periods of calmness where she could peacefully finish up with her examinations before moving along, but she noticed that the unusually colored dragon always seemed to find its way back to her after a few minutes, anyways.[break][break]

With that said, she wasn’t too surprised once she’d finally finished her scan of the area, only to find the smaller reptile right on her tail again.[break][break]

Curling her lips inward to suppress broader smile, the woman furrowed his brows as amber hues lingered upon the tiny beast, only faltering and breaking, completely, as a cackle of amusement escaped her lips in response to a sudden, expecting cry she’d received after prolonged eye contact. She clicked her tongue a few times in thought before opting to kneel down with another treat in one hand, and her remaining Safari ball in the other.[break][break]

”You wanna come along, too~?” she hummed, grinning wider upon seeing the Gible wildly wave its hands towards the snack between her fingers. She pursed while continuing on for a little while after, softly waving her hand around to bait the dragon around before ultimately handing it over for the azure scaled drake to finally nibble on.[break][break]

She waited until it was completely done before tapping the capsule atop its head.[break][break]
