Unlike Priscilla, most of her Pokémon didn’t enjoy being cooped up in Pokéballs for long periods. And so most of them had scattered out over the city doing jobs and whatnot. One other Pokémon, however, had not.

Ariados had been napping in his Pokéball up until now. But then from inside he heard the sound of splashing waves and burst forth. With his spider eyes wide open he looked upon the sea. There was only one thing he could do. All the daddy instincts within him told him to do as much. He grabbed what Pokéballs Priscilla had in her pocket and hurried over to the sea, crawling out on a rocky formation that extended into the sea, before he quickly made a web of his silk with a long line.

With a powerful throw did he send the web flying into the sea. With a timid splash did it hit. And then he placed his arachnid behind on the ground, quietly waiting for someone or something to swim into his floating web. Alas, his back was now turned to Priscilla and so he did not see nor hear Isaac arriving.

Priscilla was quicker to notice Isaac’s approach, mostly because Leavanny pointed it out to her as the grass/bug-type continued working her hair, making it much more presentable, some might even consider her bright orange hair pretty now that it had been smoothened. Her eyes gazed at the group, but definitely gave more focus, and perhaps an elevator glance or two, to Isaac. A flush of red spread over her cheeks, as she began to fiddle with her hands in embarrassment.

“Well, better than staying cooped up, no?” She stated, her voice clearly affected by the state of her mind. “And yeah it’s pretty neat here. Very secluded…” Her fingers finally found some locking combination to keep them still. Though that didn’t stop her mind from wandering. She wanted to ask if he didn’t think it was a bit suspicious for a young pair like them to be here all alone. Sure there was Pokémon, but they could be otherwise occupied, she also wanted to tell him to put on a shirt so her eyes wouldn’t have to wander so much.

Alas, she said none of those things.

Meanwhile, Ariados was busy at work doing dad stuff. Something had landed on his web. A Marill, the poor fool. Though annoyed by the web, the Marill tried to fight its way out. But by channeling the Grass-type attack ABSORB through the web, Ariados made short work of it before throwing a Pokéball at the Marill, initiating capture procedures before returning to his web-fishing.

A look of shocked surprise appeared in her eyes when Isaac wrapped himself up. Oh no, he noticed. A sense of embarrassment tried to strangle her. She heard the gentle laughter of Leavanny behind her. The words that Isaac spoke afterward didn’t help at all. It just made her even more embarrassed, not because of what he said, but because of the care, he said it with, and all she had done was ogle him.

Anyhow she didn’t know how to respond and so turned her attention to the litter of Pokémon following him. She sent a greeting smile at Watson and Grimace, though she was a bit hesitant at first since she hadn’t met the fossil Pokémon before. She then gave a small greeting wave in Kurze’s direction, as he seemed to have found a shady spot of his own. She even returned the greeting wave Sectonia gave her, with a wave of her own, before the Queen-bee joined Ariados in its fishing. And last not but least she was blessed with the noodle appendage of Mixalot alongside Ceres.

Whatever embarrassment she might’ve felt vanished at the sight of this happy Pokémon gathering.

Ariados greeted Sectonia with an arachnid chittering, offering her a spot by his side if she wished to watch him fish. The Marill was caught much to the surprise of Sectonia. With somewhat embarrassed pride did Ariados explain how he, back when he was a wee-spider-lad, seen many trainers catch the Pokémon that inhabited the areas in which he had lived. And so it hadn’t taken long for him to deduce how these capture spheres worked. But then he realized just how long he had spent talking, with an embarrassing smile, did he begin to scratch the back of his head with one of his front legs while he apologized for blabbering for far too long.

While the Bee and the Spider were enjoying their time, it seemed another Pokémon had noticed the beach group. Priscilla’s attention had been upon Isaac’s Pokémon. And so when water suddenly crashed down upon her, she was surprised. A shriek of surprise escaped her as the colder water hit her, drenching her entire body, clothes, and all.

She sat shivering for a moment before her body adjusted. Isaac seemed focused on finding the foe who had done this despicable thing to them. It didn’t take long at all for the Predator known as Isaac to find the Mantine-culprit. He stormed after it, some Pokémon in tow. Which gave Priscilla some needed privacy.

Leavanny had noticed that Priscilla’s clothes were drenched and with a few gentle insect chirps did she suggest that she take them off. Priscilla hadn’t gone to the beach unprepared after all. Like a Deerling looking into the headlights of Isekai-truck-kun did she look towards Leavanny. Only to be met with a reassuring smile and nudging.

Priscilla sighed and nodded. She quickly glanced towards Isaac making sure he wasn’t peeping or anything before she stood up, and pulled off her wet clothes revealing to the world not only her pale skin but also the blood-red homemade Leavanny-silk Bikini which was clearly made according to meticulous measuring. Holding her hands up to her chest in a futile attempt to cover herself, did she stand glasses resting upon the ridge of her nose. She was about to plump down again when Leavanny declined her attempt to do so and instead pointed towards the sea and Isaac. “But But….” She muttered. But Leavanny would hear none of it. Though the smile did not leave its face, the motherly Pokémon continued to point toward Isaac.

Realizing the fight was futile, she turned around and headed towards the sea to help Isaac. Though one might very well have mistaken her for a nervous Rattata from the way that she walked nervously through the sand, trying to hide in plain sight as best she could. But somehow she reached the sea, water splashing against her sand-covered bare feet. “D… Do you need help?” She nervously asked as she gazed upon Isaac and his attempts at dealing with the Mantine.

Priscilla watched the splashing attempts at a wrestling match that Isaac was partaking in. How did she intend for her to help? Well, maybe she should’ve thought of that before she offered the help.

Anyhow, now she was here and help was needed. She hurried into the sea, the mild water sending shivers through her body. Goosebumps and well other things becoming all too apparent. But she tried not to think about that, luckily a slight stinging on her right hand helped move her attention to her quarry.

She hurried further into the sea, quickly reaching the two-on-one wrestling match. She threw herself at the Mantine, trying to join in on the matchmaking it three on one. Alas, a cute girl like her throwing herself at the Mantine would affect it in some way, what little help she provided would probably not do much to improve the situation.

Wrestling with a Mantine hadn’t been on her to-do list for today. But as she clung to its fishy surface, almost slipping several times, she found it a surprisingly enjoyable experience, even if her glasses were almost falling off several times, almost as many times as she was.

Still, it felt almost as if the aquatic Pokémon were playing with them. Small giggles escaped her from time to time. Until at last Isaac announced that she and his Pokémon should let go of the Mantine. She complied, letting herself fall into the water, head going under for a brief second before she found herself emerging. She secured her glasses once more. Not wanting to suddenly turn blind.

She turned her gaze towards Isaac who was busy trying to catch the Pokémon. She breathed heavily from the exertion of effort that this game had provided before she spoke loudly – for her – “Phew, that was fun!” she beamed a smile in Isaac’s direction.

Priscilla gave a short nod, before listening to Isaac’s contemplations about the nature of the Mantine. Though she couldn’t claim to understand much of it. She was by no means a trainer, she hadn’t even caught the Pokémon that followed her, they had all come to her.

Anyhow. Isaac seemed to finally notice Priscilla’s new choice of attire. Though she had forgotten about it until he reminded her. A powerful blush colored her cheeks a deep red. She wanted to cover up again, but knew that Isaac had already seen everything there was to see now, so covering up would do no good. She could do naught but accept his gaze.

A timid “Thanks.” Escaped her mouth, though it was barely loud enough to rise above the sound of splashing waves against the shore.

Speaking of the shore. Leavanny sat casually, legs crossed in a yoga pose as she looked upon what she assumed was some sort of human courting, why else would Priscilla be so flustered? A sigh escaped its lips. Oh, how nice it seemed to be young again. She remembered the days of being a Sewaddle, almost as if it had been yesterday. As she walked down memory lane, her hands stayed busy working on her next silky project, a project which was quickly taking the shape of some comfy swimwear for Isaac.

Meanwhile, Ariados was chatting along with Sectonia, trying to explain the intricacies of using the right web for ocean fishing. So lost in his explanation was he that he forgot that Sectonia would never be able to produce similar webs. That was not the only thing he lost today. A Barraskewda swam nearby, passing the web without even getting close.
