[attr="class","cmonbody"] It was bound to happen, it was only a matter of time. One misstep was all it took before Dallas before Dallas’ body flopped onto the rocky terrain. Although it was not the way he expected. Instead of tripping he stood on what seemed to be a simple rock in the poor lighting. That was until that rock yelled at him and threw him off. Before he could even get to his feet the Lairon was staring Dallas down. Anger flaring in its piercing blue eyes. [break]
“Woah, woah, woah! It was an accident no need to-“ A fuming roar cut off Dallas. The steel Pokémon clearly did not want to hear or believe his excuses. [break]
“Well if that’s how you want to play it.” Before the Lairon could exact its revenge, the cave lit up before dimming again as a Slowpoke suddenly found itself in a tense situation. Giving both the Pokémon in front of it and his startled trainer behind him a glance before getting an idea of the situation. [break]
“Bom, it’s pissed!” The Slowpoke gave a content smile to its trainer, turning back to see the Lairon using double edge. The rocky terrain was crushed by the force it came at, before finding its target in Slowpoke. The two were sent flying onto their backs, debris flying along with them. [break]
“Bom, use Water Gun while you can!” Luckily for the slow creature, it didn’t need to be on its feet just yet while the Lairon tried to find its balance. It was pummelled by a jet of water from the Slowpoke lying on its back. Dallas could not deny, it was an amusing and amazing sight to watch. [break]
“Get in its face. Give it the ol one-two.” The trainer commanded with a poorly executed boxer imitation. Swinging his fists wildly into the air as a demonstration and hopping from foot to foot. Good thing it was too dim for anyone to see Dallas. Hopefully. [break]
Bom got onto his feet before charging at the Lairon, a bright pink and blue energy converging onto his forehead. The stunned Lairon had managed to get a moment to breathe now. And seeing the charging Slowpoke, had just enough time to use Protect. The green bubble that formed around the iron Pokémon blocking Bom’s Zen Headbutt. [break]
“Just keep at it. Water Pulse.” Despite bouncing off the protective barrier, Bom landed on his feet with a blue sphere of water forming at his mouth. Lairon used Protect again, the same green barrier appearing to block the attack. But this time it couldn’t hold. The sphere crashing through and sending the steel Pokémon into a wall. [break]
Dallas stood in between the two now, a Pokéball in hand. “You got chutzpah buddy. I like it.” The red ball was then launched in the air, tapping the injured Lairon. [break]
“That was pretty energetic for you, Bom. Do you get coffee in that ball or something?” The Slowpoke didn’t offer a response.
