little did she know, too. apparently being a pokemon from the distant past, and being brought via rock, does something to your tastebuds. but that asides, daphne was left looking at the meatloaf, just pouting slightly, and it's barely noticeable unless you're close enough to her - it just so happens that this man here is her brother. so he will notice. wonderful. [break][break]

certainly something.. was putting it lightly. so she sighs, but at least.. the part that wasn't gobbled up by the pokemon was still alright, and still fresh. but, for the sake of being sanitary, she pulls out a plastic knife to slice off the bit where the fangs and lips met the loaf. "hm..? ah, yes--" she perks up again, back on topic. "we're actually working together on a seasonal collection" the pout fades, and there's a smile to her lips "a palette specifically made for a collection, and a collection made specifically for a palette. the design and such is still in the works, but it's been fun planning~"[break][break]

daphne was always so indulged in the academics in the past; being able to touch into creativity has added a spark to her eye when she talks.

A genuine statement in itself, of course— one that he would have dared to say aided him in waiving the churning feeling within his stomach. Though the sight in itself still seemed to be rather rare, there had always been a sense of relief that overcame him upon seeing his elder sibling be expressive, whether it be in surplus or in the common, subtle ways that she was known to do.[break][break]

…Those days, it almost seemed as if it had been faintly amplified, but he hadn’t been entirely sure.[break][break]

Even then, however, the smaller details hadn’t been lost upon him, whether it be from the vague shifts within her expression, the light within her eyes within certain topics, or otherwise. It brought him a degree of happiness to know that she had been thriving.[break][break]

her disappointment is immeasurable and her day is ruined, but it's still because of the sad meatloaf that had a chunk bitten out of it. the second was because her dear brother here couldn't understand the terms she was using (which, fair enough, but also this is her way of one-upping him in sibling banter. do you have any idea he's spoken tech, only to leave her in the dust? it's made her feel older than she actually was). a hand raises to hook and rest beneath her ear, and around the side of her neck as she lets out a soft, and slightly nervous chuckle. "to be honest.." an eye closes, almost as she feigns a slight wince "i am.. a little bit nervous." the woman's lips curl into a small smile as her eyes glance back down to the basket. "i've done collaborations before, but we don't have a model we can both decide on.." the anxiety turns into a sigh pretty quickly. [break][break]

"this collection is for the winter, but finding a model while the region is like this is a little.." she pauses "... difficult."

A soft, humming chuckle left his lips as his eyes strayed towards the scenery before them, once more. Another duo of Pokemon seemed to trek along before long, and as he mulled the words spoken to him over, he would’ve given them little more than a second glance in passing— but after eying a certain wyvern seemingly finding interest in one of the two passerbys, he couldn’t help but watch them with a touch of amusement. Despite his normal personality, the other dragon seemed to be able to keep up with the energy she was being shown.[break][break]

He watched as they eventually lighted down onto the shoreline nearby, circling one another between curious chirps and the like. He had another capsule at the ready, truthfully, but he figured it would be rude to interrupt them right away. Later.[break][break]

So, with a hum and another look towards his sibling, he shrugged. ”There’s still plenty of other agencies to reach out to, though, no?” he asked, raising a brow. ”It’s…odd being gated off from everywhere else, yeah. Worrying, too— but there has to be at least one or two other companies you could reach out to, also, right? If not freelancers?”[break][break]
