[attr="class","post"]he's beginning to doze off again, oblivious to the shadow that grows closer and closer until something bursts from the water. landon lets out a shout and, though he makes a mighty effort, is unable to regain his balance and falls backwards into the water.

landon swings around his limbs in varying degrees to coordination (all, admittedly, poor) until he manages to settle in a rhythm that keeps him float. the croconaw, without a show of guilt, shoots a weak jet of water onto his face.

he's not impressed, to say the least.

the pokemon doesn't leave, though, and nudges at his side, as if looking something. "what now?" it manages to get one of his pokeballs in its mouth and holds it up to landon expectantly. his brows raise in surprise.
