"Just a few. I'm still working my way through the circuit, sir!" Mint said as he tried not to fidget. He took his position across from Theo before letting out his own pokemon. A teal and white pokeball went flying before the bright light released a Luxray who took his position across form the Salazzle. [break][break]

Cacio takes a defensive stance in front of mint, eyes flashing red as his INTIMIDATE kicked in. "Make way, Cacio!" he ordered as the Luxray used DISCHARGE, making way for it to rush in at his opponent.

salazzle is not easily INTIMIDATED. the poison-type stands its ground, readying itself for the DISCHARGE only to slink off to the side.[break][break]

slippery though not wet, salazzle lets a TOXIC seep into luxray's skin, essentially putting the battle on a timer.[break][break]

for the sake of M.A.G.M.A, theo wonders how will mint fare with the added pressure?

The Salazzle had moves alright, and the TOXIC doesn't bode well. In the interests of being tested he only had Cacio. So right now, realistically, he'd be formulating a plan to escape. If this were real time mission. [break][break]

But it's not. Cacio gave one look at his trainer who only nodded before back at the Salazzle and breaking into a sprint at it, WILD CHARGE. [break][break]

WILD CHARGE is powerful but it also poses a threat to those who use it. the RECOIL damage is not to be underestimated.[break][break]

the impact sends salazzle skidding back, webbed feet digging into the ground before eventually coming to a stop. it's only then that its eyes glow purple as it uses VENOSHOCK.[break][break]

with luxray POISONED, the damage should be substantial.

Yeah. Yeah Mint would be absolutely running. Cacio is taking a beating, he can tell by the snarl of pain the Luxray let out still recovering from his own attack. Mint doesn't need to look at his phone to tell Cacio was close to passing out. Could he last another two attacks? [break][break]

At least one? Theo's beating his ass in the quote retweets man. "Hang in there buddy!" He had to. Cacio lets off another DISCHARGE, trying to keep the Salazzle at a distance.

A moment of reprieve. Good. Cacio was panting, the poison crawling through him causing a shortness in breath. Poor cat. "Push!" He called out as Cacio shook himself as if trying to shake off his toxins. He barrels forward, a little unsteady. Still. He takes a CRUNCH at the Salazzle trying to end this.

the PARALYSIS fades as quickly as it had come. too bad for the luxray because this only means one thing for it:[break][break]

fangs sink into salazzle as the CRUNCH connects but there's nothing that stops the VENOSHOCK from happening again. it's just as ruthless as the last, drawing an end to their battle.[break][break]
