“i was thinking the two of us can go cross region cryptid hunting. see if we can find what other people haven’t been able to.”

he flips the phone over showing a blurry picture of a bipedal creature.

“the swampsnow, y’know, a swampy abomasnow. people haven’t been able to confirm if its real or not and i think we could get to be bottom of it.”

the flips to another picture, a half-moth, half-man on the screen.

“and the natman. a venonat/human hybrid gone wrong or something, idk.”

the hesitance speaks volumes. not because fernando disagrees, but because he teeters between it. for a man so decisive, it takes someone that entrenched into his life to make him unable to commit.
