BASICS

20 year old skinny blond with layered spiky hair that frames a face comprised of soft edges sitting atop a long neck.
Dresses as light as he can, yet is ordinarily dressed to be prepared for the wilderness. Normally donned with a sturdy, long vest jacket that hides numerous useful pockets inside, going along with the cargo pants often stuffed with tools or pokeballs.

Normally equipped with numerous basic survival tools - Firestarter, compass, communications device, spare pokeballs, a medicine pouch (usually filled with chopped up bits of berries), a 2-pronged mini grappling hook. Almost always wearing bright yellow, thick gloves fitted with electrical devices meant to taze upon impact.

Nico is a goal-oriented Pokemon Trainer attempting to complete a traditional 8-badge gym challenge in an effort to not only earn his family's respect, but also be welcomed home once again.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Mild mannered, polite, inviting, well-spoken...

When saying Hello, ultimately, is full of small talk so polite that it borders on awkward. Generally Nico keeps topics polite and veers away from discussing personal matters. Not one to pry or poke into anyone's business unless the other indicates otherwise. Nico is keen on respecting other's privacy and protecting his own as he is not keen on divulging his own personal information, especially avoiding the topic of his family. The subject of Pokemon is possibly one of the only topics he will go into great detail over. A polite meeting is likely to begin and end without incident.

Witnessing a great act will likely earn respect and awe pretty easily. He is likely to assist in times of need, and give credit where credit is deserved. Aiding young children or Pokemon will especially earn respect and even appreciation.
Witnessing a crime or cruelty, however... is looked down upon and even infuriating for Nico. However, he is extremely unlikely to intrude in any situation unless he see's an immediate threat to a Pokemon or seemingly innocent individual. Cautious and private, seeking instead to avoid conflicts as much as he possibly can, yet refusing to do nothing if he is in a position to immediately help.

FRIENDSHIP

Nico can sometimes be challenging to befriend. Although he will happily (and politely) remember and appreciate all friendly acquaintances, meaningful friendships are not something he is seeking during his journey. No time to waste with other people, and no intention to waste the time of others either. Due to the circumstances of his goal-oriented lifestyle, very little time is allocated for new friendships.
Regardless, Nico is quick to open up to fellow-Pokemon fans. The helpful, intelligent, witty, and confident types are likely to hold his attention, while quiet, introverted, cautious and shy folks may find themselves in awkward silences around him.

ROMANCE

Oblivious, indifferent, and not seeking, Nico can often completely miss flirtatious acts and take compliments are face-value, treating every interaction as if it were platonic from both parties. Sometimes this obliviousness and assumption can lead to misunderstandings, especially as he is not currently single.

ENEMIES

Rude, cocky, and dismissive attitudes can irritate and easily get under his skin, especially when a very clear superiority is also shown off alongside an over-confident attitude. Insulting his loved ones and Pokemon is an easy way to antagonize many people, Nico included.

Planned Events

Teri the Terrible Typhlosion-
Nico and Matthew will be wandering a charred field, noticing a lot of destruction and burns. They find that a protective mother Typhlosion is the source, as she is in the process of protecting her egg- which has a crack in it!! They must find a way to calm the raging mother down long enough to help save the egg.

WISHLIST

Rude Rivals Plot - Would be very interesting to see an antagonistic relationship from both parties. A Rival battler that pushes Nico to be better out of sheer petty screw you anger. Ideally a rivalship that goes both ways - both parties irritate and push the other to be better.

Pika/Raichu Rival Plot - Similar to above, however this can be far friendlier! Would love to see another Pika/Raichu owner. Juvon (Nico's Pikachu/Raichu) is his first Pokemon, given to him by his parents as an egg. They essentially grew up together. Eager to see someone with the same bond across the same species. Either to compare and push each other to be better in a friendly manner (show tips for battles, compare moves), or simply share a love for their beloved partners ("Did your Pichu ever thudnershock you in bed cuz he had a nightmare??").
