The duo were still arguing about going forward- until the loud crackle of lightening caught their attention. What was that?! Blinking, canine and human stared at each other in utter confusion. Before jolting out of their hides as someone just appeared out of no where to rush past them in some hurry.

Matt squinted at this, she was going to where the commotion was going on, he wanted to go there... Looking at Nana, she rolled her eyes and dragged him to her back. Soon darting off towards the girl, grabbing her by the arm to swing her with the motion behind to bring her up behind him onto the back of the Arcanine.

"Name's Matt! Looks like we both gonna go see what is going on over there, right?"

Nana raced across the sands, kicking up the particles behind her as she rushed towards where the other pokemon was trying to be struck down by lightening. Ears twitched back to listen to the woman her trainer had just dragged onto her back. So they needed to get to the boat, right...? She knew none of her teammates could get to the boat- but she did have an idea...

"Er, well not I don't- the hell?!"

The canine they were riding started to glow and Matt's face went blank. "Shit, hold on!" He grabbed a hold of the girl's wrist- gently of course- to attempt to tug her arms around him to hold on. "She's about to dash!" His own hands went to grip her fur so tightly, this was going to be one bumpy ride for sure.

A howl came from Nana, as she suddenly launched forward at a blinding light speed pace. Using Extreme Speed to propel herself forward and across the water. Her paws running so fast she raced across the water in a orange and black blur. Racing for the boat as she jumped to slam herself into it. Claws digging into the side to finally give herself some leverage up to heave herself and the two trainers over into the boat.

Matt looked dizzy, but was more focused on making sure the lady behind him wasn't in any danger of falling in the water, before he went to focus on the task ahead. "Oh right, Matt by the way. Wanna kick some rocket ass?" Wow, what a great introduction, Matt.

Jello legged was a understatement! Luckily Matt had been training with Nana to be able to withstand it. He just hoped the young lady was fine with the improv Jesus walk over the water. Turning his focus back to the Pokemon, he glared at the bug up above. Clicking his tongue in disgust as Nana was tied down by the web. Snorting through his nostrils, he yelled for her. "Burn it off! Then get 'em!"

As soon as he called the order, he saw the brute marching towards him. Out of instinct, he moved himself in front of Annalise, disregarding his own safety to make sure she wasn't hurt. Bringing his fists up, looking ready to do fisticuffs with this pokemon with his bare hands. But a blast of moonlight stunned it. Smirking, he then noticed in the corner of his eyes he noticed Nana was now free of the web.

Without even waiting for an order, she rushed the Machamp, fangs bared as she dug them right into his arm with a might Crunch. Refusing to let go as the fighting type tried to violently throw her off his arm. Giving a howl of pain, he finally punched her square in the nose. Sending the Arcanine flying backwards, hitting the railing as she got back up, blood coming out of her nose as she snooted flames out of her nostrils, still roaring and ready to go.

"We can handle the Machamp, can your Altaria handle the bug?"

A short not to Annalise, before his attention was now on the battle at hand. Looking at Nana, who had fire burning in her eyes. He was trying to avoid using Flare Blitz on a boat, not wanting to catch their vessel on fire, of course. Eyes soon traveled to the sniffling poacher hiding behind his pokemon. Seeing him trying to sneak away with his load of poached pokemon.

Oh hell no.

Matt bolted past the Machamo, narrowly avoiding the hands being flung at him. In fact, one went to snatch him by the back of his shirt, until Nana came rushing over to slam her body into the Machamp. Knocking it away from Matt as she snarled at the fighting type. Rushing to stand over him, jaws snapping inches from his face. Like a protective mother.

Flames burned in her muzzle, but instead of unleashing the fire that burned in her belly, her body started to sparkle with pink light- as she went to perform Play Rough, knocking the Machamp out from under her like a cat would a toy. Batting him around before she finally slammed her body into him harshly, sending the Machamp across into the railing. Scoffing towards him, holding her head high. Daring him to keep fighting.

Leaving Nana to handle herself, Matt blinked a few times in confusion as the man was stopped. Standing over him, a brow was lifted, giving him a soft kick to the ribs. "I'll deal with you later." A huff, going around to follow Annalise. Coming up to her handling it all pretty well on her own. Why was he always so protective of everyone? Shaking his head, he grabbed a ball from his belt. "May as well turn yourself in, you're outnumbered and classed."

Matt could have been bluffing for all the poacher knew. Really though, his partner was down, and so were the pokemon. At least, that's what he thought. He really shouldn't be so cocky...

A hand grabbed his shoulder, making his face go blank. Turning his head up to see the Machamp- what- where was Nana- he spotted her body crushed into the deck next to the Vikabolt. Face paled, looking at the Machamp who just tossed him like he was a rag doll right off the boat. Hitting the water as he splashed about, gasping for air when he resurfaced. "Annalise! Watch out!" He tried to yell up to her.

The Machamp was on the move though, but he was limping as he half waddled half ran towards the blonde. It's only goal was to toss her off the boat like he had done the other- that way the pokemon would go assist and leave the poachers alone.

Matt was looking for some way to get back on the boat, mentally cursing the fact he lacked a water pokemon at this rate. Looking up as the dragon type came to try and aide him, he simply waved. Knowing it would retreat back to it's trainer to assist. As he swam around trying to find some way up, he then spotted Nana leaning her head over the side.

She look so busted up and it hurt Matt to see. It enraged him rather, frowning at her. "Stay up there, Nana. Can you help out Annalise?" He called to her, she nodded. With a huff, the canine turned to face the girl and her pokemon. Limping over, she stood to tower over the others. Growling loudly to the poacher, eyes burning with that inner flame.

The entire body language was just telling him to quit this, going to place her paw directly on his shoulder to help hold him down. Snorting smoke from her nostrils, fangs bared, ready to snap if he kept i tup.
