It was something out of a nightmare.

A sharp squeak slipped out from the reporter as she threw herself behind the self proclaimed "best minor league gym leader".

The fluffy pink lamb gave another baaa baaa in confirmation before squeezing his eyes closes. Then, with might of pokemon Zeus, cracks of orange and yellow sparked out from the pokemon, directly piercing through the incoming swarm of hellish combees.

The super effective move was just enough to bring the first row of assilants down.

Before they continue pitching ideas, back and forth, as they normally would, the sharp sound of buzzing curtly sliced through the air waves, beckoning for their immediate attention. As Cian positioned himself in front of her, Penelope slunk back behind, sending out Remy Fritzgerald in her stead.

Angular arcs of yellow thundered out, shocking the remaining combees til they fell. Only when the flashes of color faded away did Penelope scoot back around Cian, curious to see the aftermath of their attacks.
