Work in other cities doesn’t suit Tam. In Slateport he knows the police department, the firefighters, and most other first responders. He may not be a “people person” – far from it, in fact – but in his city constant collaboration has led to an understanding between the rangers and other departments. Dealing with strangers, on top of dealing with a chaotic situation, makes things much harder. But, alas, rangers are spread thin, and helping out at other cities is somewhat of a common occurrence lately.
