Her introverted friend was quick to shoot the Kalos idea down, telling her that it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. "Wait, really? That sounds awful! I don't wanna get bird poop on me!" If travel guides were more honest, Kalos would be getting a lot less tourism. Alas, it was known as the world capital of beauty and fashion, while Hoenn was known as the region with too much water.

Paldea though... Now that was a region steeped in mystery, having only recently entered the public conscience. It sounded like it could be fun for both of them. Plus, if Nagi himself was smirking at the prospect, then it was certainly the right choice. "Paldea it is! We'll go there next summer! Promise?" Andrea said, extending her raised pinky finger.

After the unbreakable contract of a pinky swear had been signed, Andrea would rise from her beach towel, taking off her shirt and sunglasses and leaving them behind. "The water should still be warm. We've got time for one last swim. What do you say?" The swimsuit-clad woman turned to Nagi with an inviting smile.

 there's a pause, a protracted moment of silence when he simply stares at andrea's extended finger with his brows furrowed. and then, his expression clears, a cloud parting. he hooks his pinky around andrea's, seals the contract by bobbing it once, before retracting his hand.[break][break]

he looks out into the water, the waves glimmering under the sun at summer's end. it won't be long until the autumn chill blows in — together with whatever else hoenn has left in store. [break][break]
