As Amor Rose had laid out, she was to meet two others in pursuit of the strange Vespiqueen he was seeking. Toni typically didn’t play nice with others, but there was promie of additional pay . . . and hopefully with two others that meant she had to do a third of the work. The math was sound and hopefully they didn’t slow her down.

Fortree City is surrounded by dense woods filled to the brim with wildlife. It’s no surprise that the last known sighting of the Vespiqueen was just outside of town. Those daring enough to venture into the dark parts of the forest found themselves swarmed by Combee. Unusually angry Combee.

Follow the Combee, find the hive. Find the hive, find the queen.

The most reported attacks came from further down the trailhead she now stood at, impatiently awaiting the arrival of the other two hunters. The visor of her helmet is pushed up, piercing dark eyes peering through the trees for any sign of her ‘partners’.

"Yo! Sorry for the hold up!" From further back the trail came a large red-headed man jogging his way up to meet with one out of two of his other partners. While Kaz had agreed to do this job for @armor he almost forgot where he was supposed to go while he was gearing up for this little venture. From figuring out where in Hoenn it was to where exactly around Fortree it was it was amazing that he didn't end up where this supposed Vespiqueen was resting with him circling around the forest.

Once he caught up he took a moment to take in a deep breath and take a sip out of his water bottle before waving at the woman he made wait for him and take a glance at the path they were going to take. From his point of view it didn't seem like many Pokemon might be hiding deeper inside, but one could never know how these creatures would act at times now would they?

"So we're just waiting on one more guy right? Hope they aren't too far behind, we don't want that queen we're hunting down to get any more combee all around it. dealing with a whole flock of them does not sound like a fun time."

Luckily for the others, Tobias hadn't fallen too far behind. He was a bit lanky and frail but he wasn't that out of shape. Having finally arrived he gave a light smile before getting more serious. Eyebrows furrowed and lips in a thin line, he stared at the Vespiqueen and it's growing numbers of combee. "Apologies for the wait. How do you two think we should precede with this?" Adjusting his glasses his hazel gold eyes narrowed in focus. "Perhaps a distraction is in order? Anything to get the Queen away from her soldiers."

The woman’s posture straightens a bit as the sound of someone approaching creaks through the trees. Eventually, the dense woods gives way to a rather large, impressive man. Typically, Toni is rather adverse to working with others but maybe she could make an exception . . . If only she wasn’t already annoyed, “It’s about time,” she simply says, shifting her gaze to the other sound of someone approaching. This time, it’s a rather unimpressive looking man. Figures. This better not be a babysitting job on top of specimen collection.

Toni is straight to business, not even an introduction, “We have to actually find the hive first,” she corrects @tobias , turning slightly to start down the path, “There have only been reports of attacks and sightings. The hive itself seems to be elusive,” they aren’t the only ones looking for these pokemon.

A pokeball cracks open to release a Houndoom onto the trail. “Alpha may be able to track some down with ODOR SLEUTH.”

The image of romping Growlithes, Rockruffs, and Fidoughs fill Kaz's mind when its mentioned that finding this hive would be the first step in their plan, capturing it would come next. While he would hardly call himself an expert hunter he's used Honey a handful enough times to know that it works in attracting Pokemon it would stand to reason they could use that but in reverse right? "Well why don't we sniff them out? I have a pair that are pretty decent when it comes to sniffing out Pokemon."

With that he took out two balls and released a large golden Arcanine and a sagely looking Lucario, both of whom he gave a soft pet to their heads and the two of them seemed to enjoy his rough yet tender touch to their fur. Once he gave his two partners he reached into his backpack and took out a spare jar of honey he had been carrying with him that doubled as a snack and a lure for wild Pokemon that he kept with him for the week. Opening it up the sweet smell of the jelly came pouring out of the jar and the Arcanine in particular couldn't help but stare at the goo inside that looked the same hue as his fur, seeing the temptation in his eyes Kaz gently lifted the jar to its nose for it to get a good whiff and closed the jar right as the Lucario leaned in for its own quick whiff.

"We're gonna be looking for a large source of this stuff fellas. Skywalker your eyes are gonna be up front though, we're looking for a bunch of these things, with this boss lady being our mark." Trading the honey for his phone he opens up a small album full of Combees and ends the list with a clear image of a Vespiqueen so that the blue dog can get a general idea of what he was looking for. With that he turned towards Antoinette Spina with a smile that was full of confidence. "Pretty sure these two will find our bug. Unless ya think we could use a little more...uh...help with that?"
