Aimlessly Staring into the Water...[break][break][break][break]

There was something peaceful about putting her feet in the water... But even more enjoyable was allowing her body to float against the gentle waves of the lake within the city's walls. The water was never this warm in Kalos, and even outside of Sootopolis she knew it was riddled with little sandbars and outlets against the dark waters... It was unexplainable how beautiful everything both above and beneath the surface was. [break][break]

Still, despite the stars dotting the surface of the lake, and the warped reflection of the moon danced across the surface... Lyra knew better than to go swimming at night! The girl, upon hearing some mysterious splashing, decided to end her swimming session in a huff, making her way back to the shallows as quickly as she could manage. Thankfully the lake was peaceful-- There was hardly any wake to fight. [break][break]

Grabbing her things and wrapping a towel around her waist, she stared back into the lake for a moment, before looking up at the sky... Still, her attention drew her back to that noise again. What the heck was it? Either way, she readied herself...

A Wild Morelull Appeared![break][break][break][break]

Lyra stood there quietly in the sand for a moment, watching as a small, dim glow had approached her. Somehow, it seemed familiar... and sure enough, as it got closer, she was able to make out what it was. A Morelull. Her heart fluttered slightly upon seeing it's glow... It was common to see them in small gardens all around Lumiose City. They took over forests at night, lighting them up with their spores. The question begged... what was one doing in Sootopolis? This was far from the right environment for the little guy...[break][break]

Reaching into her bag, Lyra decided she would try to capture it... There was empathy running through her heart. Maybe he had a trainer already-- Someone else that just released him. That happened a lot in cities. She related to the feeling of being abandoned. [break][break]

Readying a Pokeball, she clicked it, and threw it at the Morelull!
