Orphaned at 16, Nils was forced to raise his little brother on his own. It seemed their father's death affected the child more than the teen, as it seemed he always resented the way Nils raised him, being a stern but doting guardian. When he turned 25, Nils decided to escape to Hoenn with his brother to start a new life. Escape what exactly, he doesn't like to talk about. [break][break]
Nils is a cold and mysterious man. Outwardly stone-faced, only his gray eyes reveal what he's truly thinking. He rarely smiles, except to crack a smirk after a particularly strange joke. His sense of humor is like dry ice, and his love language is gently teasing others. A man frozen by many hardships, he turns to his interests to keep himself afloat. The occult, the taboo, it fascinates him. He has an affinity for Pokémon often deemed creepy.
