"Hey, I brought coffee with me. Want some?" the sudden whisper startled her but Hailee didn't jump lest she mess up the work the stylists were doing to her. Cracking an eye open when she could she spied who she assumed to be her partner for the photoshoot today offering her a cup of coffee. [break][break]

Once she had a break to move she gently took the cup with a smile. "Oh, that's so thoughtful, thank you." She said as she took a sip and let the caffeine slowly begin to wake her. "I'm Hailee by the way." she said offering him another quick glance as her stylists wrapped up with her and began to attend to the man beside her. [break][break]

Noticing his little Sylveon in toe she offered another warm smile. Hailee had brought her own little cutie too but she was still resting in her pokeball since it was so early. Valerie was a new addition to her team. A shiny swablu that had clicked with her during her recent ranger activities. She'd wanted to spend some more time with her so their bond could grow stronger which is why she chose her to work with today.[break][break]

Hailee was also just doting on her new baby, so what's new?[break][break]

"This your first time doing something like this?" Hailee asked as she leaned against the armrest on her chair. Sure she was making conversation but she was also curious. At least in the modeling scene in Hoenn she was pretty familiar with certain people but she wasn't familiar with this guy.

"Not really, though I do more sports photography modeling than clothing," Now that Marshall mentioned it, she thought about it and she had the faintest feeling she'd seen his face before now but she's not sure. Maybe she'd seen him in passing in a magazine or something, who knows. Or maybe she could be making it up. Valerie must've sensed the coffee but her curious side got the better of her and she popped out from her pokeball on her own. [break][break]

Hailee smiled down at her as she nestled in her lap and gently scratched her head with her nail. "But with all the races canceled this season, I gotta find more ways to get cash. I'm guessing you do this often?" Hailee nodded, agreeing with his sentiment. Gotta make money somehow. Especially for her since she had no desire to rely on her father's or mother's money to get her what she wanted. "Yeah it's good consistent money." Hailee said with a chuckle. [break][break]

"But I would much rather be working on the runway." She said with a sigh. "Ah, not as a model but rather designing the clothes for the models." she clarified. "Even piecing together something here would be nice." She said as she flashed a smile at the staff. "Which is why I'm so thankful for these guys. I've worked with them often enough they let me have some say on the pieces I wear." she said as she beamed in their direction. [break][break]

"Say, have you heard anything about what we're supposed to be modeling?" The question was asked to all of them, the staff and Marshall. "It has something to do with showing partnership between pokémon and trainer, that's all I know." one of the staff members replied as she continued to work on doing Marshall's makeup. Hailee glanced down at Valerie who trilled happily before snuggling against her. [break][break]

"Hmmm," Hailee hummed. "Curious that they're keeping it a mystery." Hailee said with a small smile. If she was honest it was a little worrying but she was sure it wouldn't be anything ridiculous. Her team wouldn't have suggested this to her if it was sketchy she was sure of that.

Once Marshall was finished going through his hair and makeup, an older woman stepped up to guide them to the next step in the process, Hailee's personal favorite part, the outfits. After ushering them into a dressing room prepped with racks and racks of different outfits to choose from she nodded, "Here, pick some outfits that you like," she instructed, gesturing. "Make sure they're comfortable. You're supposed to be playing in the courtyard outside with your Pokémon for the shoot today, so make sure the clothes are appropriate."[break][break]

"Well, that's something," Marshall said as he began to sift through the items on the racks. Hailee chuckled softly as she went and did the same. "Let me know if you need any help with anything. Though I'm looking forward to see what you come up with." she offered him a quick smile before turning and hunting for her own outfit once more. [break][break]

The instructions had been to make sure it was comfortable. But it was buffered by the fact that they would be playing out in the courtyard with their pokémon. With that in mind Hailee figured she should go for anything too glamourous or flashy. Based on what they were told the theme seemed to be casual. So instead of heels and frills she'd go for a more urban look. [break][break]

After much deliberation she grabbed a slew of items from the outfit itself to accessories to accentuate her look and headed back to the dressing room a little bit after Marshall did. Once she had the outfit on she checked herself in the mirror of the dressing room one more time before she gave a satisfied nod. [break][break]

Denim and asymmetrical cuts of the material were the themes of her ensemble. Paired with simple silver earrings and a silver ring she was giving playful casual. Not being able to distance herself fully from her signature things her crop top feature some slight frills but nothing too overpowering. It looked like something she would wear going out for a playdate with her pokémon and that was the ticket to success.[break][break]

She stepped out into the hallway leading to the courtyard after getting approval of her outfit just as Marshall was making his way out. "How do I look?" he asked with a bright smile before spreading out his arm to show off the fit. Hailee giggled and nodded. "Looking good." she said with a nod of approval. It was giving business man on a coffee run, but somehow that still managed to fit Marshall and fit the casual playdate theme. When going on walks in parks you saw all types of styles coming forward. Plus he had the added denim look as well which matched with her a little bit. [break][break]

"Shall we?" She asked as she nodded towards the exit to the courtyard. As they made their way outside they could see the area set up with lights galore and camera's position to capture them from different angles in addition to the staff running around as they still got things ready. There were prop tables filled with all sorts of fun items ranging from toys to use to play with their pokémon to some...wait were those water balloons? "Guess we really are going to be playing," Hailee said as Valerie chirped happily from her perch on Hailee's shoulder. Pleased that she would be having a blast here regardless.

The photographer came by to quickly inform them that this was an informal shoot. They just needed to pick a few toys to play with their Pokémon and make it look fun a natural. Not too hard today, which was fine for Hailee. She'd still try and give it her best shot though, her reputation would take a hit otherwise. "Sure thing boss." Hailee answered the photographer with a charming smile before heading over to the prop table. [break][break]

After glancing at the table of toys for a little bit Hailee picked up two. One she'd be playing with Valerie and a mini water gun. She figured if she and Marshall were doing this shoot together and they were all supposed to be playing, she was sure that would include fun moments with him too. [break][break]

But if there was one thing she knew about photoshoots like this, spontaneous moments to capture genuine reactions are always more natural than something posed or forced. So according to her plan Marshall would be getting a little wet today, she hoped he'd be okay with that. She'll apologize after the shoot if need be. "Let's get started cutie." Hailee said to Valerie before stepping out onto the courtyard to join Marshall and Vector.[break][break]

This photoshoot was fun. Plenty of laughs were had on set and according to her plan, Marshall did end up a little wet. But then again so did she. Valerie loved the mini water games happily chirping and soaking up all the fun. The little baby was no longer sleepy but wide awake and hyper now that she was having fun. [break][break]

Who knew work and play would go hand in hand? "You did so well Val!" Hailee cooed at her swablu and gently pet her head before heading over to Marshall and Vector. "You two were awesome too. I hope you guys had fun." she said with a smile. "Thanks for playing along." she added as she glanced at Marshall. [break][break]

"Annnnnd That's a wrap!" she heard the call from the photographer. "Great work you two! We got some really good shots in there of all of you" he said as he made is way towards the two. He patted them both on the shoulder clearly pleased with the photoshoot. "We'll send the touched up images to you via email in a few days time so look forward to it. Oh and the company is paying you two extra for some added exposure on your social media about the merchandise. Feel free to use some of the outtakes from this photoshoot for the ad. " [break][break]

Ah so they'd receive a sponsorship from this too. That wasn't so bad. "Sure thing. Just attach in the email when the posts need to be up by." Hailee nodded before glancing over to Marshall. "Ah, I can help you with yours too if you need it." she said with a wide grin. "That's the spirit." the photographer chimed in. "That's all for the day, you two are free to go home now. Thank you for your hard work." he said before turning to leave. "Thank you!" Hailee called out as well. [break][break]

"Alrighty, thanks again for the fun photoshoot. It was nice meeting you Marshall!" Hailee said with a wave and Valerie chirped. "We're gonna head out, you take care. You too Vector." Hailee smiled at the Sylveon. Hailee turned to head off but then paused for a moment before turning around. "Unless...um." she scratched her cheek. "I promised Val I would take her to get some ice cream after this. Did you and Vector want to come along?"
