They slip into the facilities in a rush, rounding around a corner to hide away from cameras as the doors close behind them swiftly.

'Boris' the Rotom was pulling triple duty for them, the combination of its supernatural and technokinetic powers allowing it to hack into the doors, briefly freeze the security cameras' feed, peep through walls to make sure no one would accidentally come running into them...

"It has been while since I infiltrrrated secrrret base..." Nikita said lowly as he looked around, scratching thoughtfully at his chin.

They needed to find disguises for themselves... They couldn't stay hidden forever... right?

"Any ideas?" The large man said as he turned his attention to the other half of the buddy cop duo.

It wasn't.

"Are you a cop?" There was a reason his helmet was able to do some small amount of facial articulation of the eyes and mouth. It was a ditto, his helmet was a pokemon.

In the moment its articulation was that of suspicion, or at least, an almost accusatory curiosity. Crimsen wasn't opposed to working with officers but, as someone who took the law into his own hands he was well aware of most officers must have thought of him.

This guy's instinct to plan something out sounded like an officers way of doing things, Crimsen had a more organic methodology which was probably why he'd found the Ranger's role to be so natural.

As a vigilante, one day he would go to far in someone's opinion and the officers would teaming up to take him down. But the big guy seemed just happy to have some backup which meant, for now at least, there were still worst people in Hoenn than himself.

"You probably already answered that." Reaching around into a specific pants pocket a handful of mini-pokeballs filled his hands. "Don't mind me. I'm still pretty sauced over here."

"korrect, komrade." Nikita replied smoothly, accepting the out given to him by the other men without saying if he had confirmed or denied being a cop earlier, never once looking away from the hallway of which corner they around of, maintaining admirable vigilance. Clearly, he didn't want them to be caught. "I am Nikita Petrovski. Asssk in any black market... you shall find me."

Didn't want to give Crimsen enough time to give his moustache and eyebrows a good, hard enough look, either.

The large blonde closed his eyes briefly and tried to focus on listening in for a moment... Before 'Boris' suddenly chimed in.

"The halls are currently empty. Some grunts are in the base, but it seems most are elsewhere." The Rotom informed them... to which the large man quickly made a change of plans, turning towards Crimsen and nodding.

"Let us go to their security room, komrade; we take it out, and it'll be all smooth Stroganoff from there."

"gwhuhhhhh." He crossed his arms in the wake of the input from his larger partner.

"I..." His hands now devoid of any pokeballs. "really wished you'd said that like...?" It took him about ten seconds to articulate any further.

(Fletchling used TAILWIND) x8

"-ten seconds faster."

Flames ignited in the ranging distances as avian tweets filled the air. The screams of men and children alike weren't long to follow.

"Better plan; you go after the kid screams." His voice dropped too many octaves to be in the throat of a well adjusted man. "I'll get the adults."

For the first time since they had met, Nikita looked properly flabbergasted, his jaw loose as explosions and screams slaughtered the silence.

An armada of fire-type pigeons had descended upon these halls.

"... Ah." The large man uttered briefly, before shaking his head. "A little heads up next time, please! Let's go!"

The man broke into a mad dash towards the aformentioned screaming children, leaving Crimsen to, as he put it, get the adults.

And they were numerous, the vigilante would find should he go after their screams. As one might expect from an underground facility with no way to vent out the fumes from a flame, the best the place could offer was a sprinkler system, water raining through the halls and chambers.

It fought against the flames, but the people inside nonetheless continued to panic and fight against the armada of Fletchling. Water-type pokemon crowded the area, attempting to shoot down the little menaces in vain.

Honestly, what was a couple of broken colarbones when weighed against the greater good?

"HYYGHHHHH." He felt the third colarbone segement and fracture under the weight of his falling hand.

Either his training was yielding more heightened results than he anticipated or these poachers (or kidnappers or whatever) were made of paper.

The latter excuse made more sense in terms of why someone would kidnap an actual kid.

A drunken hiccup escaped his throat and the vigilante remembered he wasn't quite in full control of himself.

Best to employ a little mercy.

As with all the other fallen degenerates he offered their pokemon a way out, this guy had a Croconaw guarding him as he flailed on the ground in pain.

"Take your master and run." Before them he pulled out three more pokeballs ignoring the flames bursting about.

Even a cold-blooded croc understood when it was outgunned, at the first chance, it would FLEE; its trainer in-tow.

While Senon and his armada of fire-types were keeping things messy on the adults side, on the children side, Nikita was having a little more trouble. Unfortunately, he couldn't punch his problems away.

The fire had thrown the children into chaos. Enough so that when he marched in, he realized some of them weren't kidnapees. They were little rockets in training.

And the kidnapees? Possibly friends they had managed to 'recruit' into the cause.

This would be problematic.

Specially given all the Poochyenas and Zubats staring at him and growling, all slowly inching close towards him.

"Kaaaalm down, childrrren." The massive man intoned in a deep voice, sighing as the children took a step back, some clearly frightened. They looked as if he had just threatened to snap their necks. "Nikita is here to rescue you."

He wasn't a good fit for this task...

But he needed to see it through. The moment his hands began moving to his belt however, he was sure the pokemon would all come down on him...

Luckily for him, he didn't have to worry for long.

The power of the supernatural was on his side, they would all realize as the little pokemon suddenly began to either float in the air or lose control of their flight, caught up in Boris' Poltergeist.

And with that, Gwyar's arm flashed, grasping several more pokeballs—

-Nikita is dealing with rocket trainees and the friends they recruited/tricked into joining.
-Rotom is using poltergeist.
-Nikita is using pokemon with Hypnosis!

The sounds of screaming children in the echoing distances should have set him on edge. Without much context such sounds would have sent most into a state of high alert.

Senon Game however, even under red helm, remembered how capable children were, in this pokémon world they all called home.

He'd been one of those capable children once.

At the end of the long hall of this underground bunker was a steel door not unlike what one would see on a military ship.

It seemed like these guys had put some real resources into making this place and now some badge had exposed them and left their little hidey-hole vulnerable to a dickhead with a penchant for fire.

-and a skill for starting them.

Reasonably, as the vigilante roughly pulled back the heavy door into what was revealed to be a back office; he was met with the premises' final defense system.

He barely made out the flash of steel twinkling in his peripheral.

So fast was his attacker that his three primed pokéballs were knocked from his hands. Before he could recover, the bladed-man came at him again.

As Boris evacuated the unconscious children through its poltergeist, Nikita had already turned around and stomped off to assist Crimsen with the ass whooping.

He wasn't meant to baby seat, he was meant to crush grown men into tiny little pieces, damn it.

... Okay, maybe he was getting a little too into character there.

Rushing back to the adult side of matters, the large officer stomped past the burning rooms and ocassionally unconscious rockets and their pokemon, until—

The familiar sound of a blade slashing through air and against the wall's metallic surface reached Nikita's ears. He speed up, and rounded into a hallway to find Crimsen engaged on a life or death struggle against a Rocket swordsman.

"komrade!" Boomed the large man. "Komrrrade, childrrren are being evakuated!"

The swordsman stopped in their ceaseless assault of the vigilante to sink into a low stance, suddenly trapped between the two invaders in the hallway.
