Autumn is that lovely period when the trees change to that color, and leaves fill the air. Red, orange, yellow, browns, all of the leaves just now on the ground. Problem for a lot of people, such as Ashley, is that he has allergies, and until two hours ago, he had been sneezing up a storm. His black bangs cover his face, and as he wears a black facemask, he ensures his nose and mouth aren't open.

He's on the ground, laying against a tree. He agreed to help out some guy with raking for a small fee, but wow did it take a wrong turn. His sinuses were killing him, and as he pets his little Scorbunny, he looks straight ahead, asleep. Silver eyes closed through a mess of dyed black hair, a jacket to attempt to warm himself in the slightly chilling air.

"Did... did I pass out? Damn allergy meds." He grabs at his face, his silver eyes a little puffy, as he holds the Scorbunny close. The Nidorino, his trusted companion Reinhardt making a growl outwards. He had been protecting Ash the whole time. He wanted a ruffle behind the ear.

"Thanks, Reinhardt."

He begins scratching the Nidorino on the back of the head, before slowly coming to his feet. He wasn't sneezing anymore at least. He just felt like a zombie. "Huh... where were we, guys?" Ash pushes up his shades.

It's dusk already...? Huh. Beautiful this time of year.

Aki loved walking through the forest during autumn. To see the beautiful color change, collect seeds from plants that were withering away for the winter, also to collect new seeds for fall! So here was her and her pokemon, collecting things.

Her turtwig carried a little basket in his jaw, scurrying behind his trainer with the happiest lil' grin over his face. Aki was tucking acorns and other things into the basket, while not from them her large furret was more so playing as a watch dog.

And teh guard dog spotted the man, giving a yip to Aki. Aki lifted her head, looking towards the direction of the other. Well, he seemed so threat, so she gave a shy friendly wave.

Conjested, in small pain, and a friendly face. Yeah, this sounded like an Ashley kind of day. The guard dog yips, leaving the black-haired male with a risen brow, as he heads on down. Sure, a pretty neat lion Pokemon was around, but to ensure it moved along, Ash hides his Scorbunny in his jacket.

"Hey there, stranger." She's kind of precious, with a Turtwig carrying a basket in its jaw. If only Bongo were here to make a note of it. Oh well! Reinhardt is quick to eye the Furret and Turtwig, the Nidorino squinting at both, before relaxing.

Ash takes a moment to explain.

"You got the time? Think my allergy meds kicked in hard. Was asleep till about five minutes ago under that tree."

The large cat did not go unnoticed by the large furret. Whose hackles had raised, glaring it down. But it moved on it's way. Aki was never the wiser to the appearance of the cat, since she was focused on Ashley in front of her.

"Oh!" She patted herself down, trying to find where her phone went. It was funny, really. Seeing her go from her chest to her thighs to even patting down her butt, where the heck-

THe turtwig came up with the basket, showing it had somehow gotten in there. "Thank you, Syran." Grabbing it, she checked the time. "It's about 6:30.'

Well this is adorable. Had Ashley's mouth been visible, his brows raising would be accompanied to a smile, questioning if this were actually happening. But from chest, to thighs, to butt, it didn't matter. Ashley had to chuckle.

He needed to be friends with this person.

"Thanks. I really appreciate it. Allergies really got me this year." He pulls his mask down with one hand, showing a smile with a hand outstretched. "You can call me Ashley, Sawyer, Ash, whatever. You?"

His Scorbunny popped out of his jacket, both ears out in front, a happy look on his face.

Aki gave a shy smile, reaching out to take his hand. Her grip wasn't firm, but her hands were soft- but also... there was calluses? It was at the base of her fingers, where they connected to her palms. Lots of gardening caused that.

"I'm Aki-" A pause at his name. "My twin brother's name is Ash!" She squeaked, giggling and bouncing in her spot now, eyes wide with excitement. Though at the sight of the bunny, her hands clapped over her face.

"How!! CUTE!!"

At the squeal, Techu and Syran shook their heads. As Syran blinked as a... bellsrpout popped out of the bakset, do what!? When did they get there?! Aki squeaked, hurriedly and awkwardly throwing a ball at it. "Ah!"

Her hands had calluses, and Ash's had them too. Likely cuts and wounds, scars from his own hobby in the culinary arts. But watching the lady squeak and bounce with a giddy excitement, the black-haired man looks sheepish, using his free hand to scratch at the mask where his cheek would be.

"Small world!" It's a bit of feigned excitement, but how can he possibly take away that excitement? Especially when Sunny squeaked, and popped out of his jacket, hopping right in front of Aki with both paws on his hips.

Oh great. Sunny knew how cute he was. This boded well.

Ash decides to introduce him. "That's Sunny. Scorbunny that hatched from an egg. He's definitely the baby of my little family." He rubs the back of his head, before eyeing over towards a Dracozolt, only to ignore it as it stomps around.

"Well, Aki. What brings you this close to Oldale? Picnic?" He inquires, tilting his head. He doesn't pull down his mask at all. His eyes goes to the basket with the Turtwig.

Aki realized maybe she shouldn't have gotten so excited over the name. It was kind of silly, now that she thought about it. It was a little embarrassing to her, but luckily the conversation moved right along.

"Aww, are you the baby? Well you're so cute, the cutest little baby, wanna pinch them cheeks and give you all the treats!

Aki squealed out happily, before she slowly leaned over, her eyes going small at the sight of a giant snake. Fear gripped her in an instant, before her furret came out to action. The furret blurred in a Quick Attack and took the serpent down, and Aki fumbled for a pokeball to toss it at the snake, finally remembering to breath.

"S-sorry!"

Sunny reacts happily towards Aki, rubbing his nose with his little arm, with the trainer giving a big wide toothy grin, only hidden by the facemask. He may be congested due to allergies, but he knows immediately that this girl has a good heart in her. With a pet of the Scorbunny, but, as he reels back to sneeze, he misses the whole ordeal.

"ACHOO" It's loud, it sounds unpleasant, and he does it three times in quick succession. His body shakes by time he gets to the third. Damn this time of year.

He's just glad he had the mask on.

"Nah, you're good, Aki. Sheesh, that one hurt." He grabs at his head, looking up a moment to spot a bouquet of blue and red... and he blinks. A finger pointed out, he speaks. "Hey... that one is looking your direction."

Ah. The rose Pokemon. Whatever that was named again.

Aki reached into her pocket, pulling out a handkerchief- but she soon realized he had on a mask. Well, maybe he'd still like it, anyway? The offer was there, at least! As she collected the ball from the caught snake, she gave it a look over. "Huh, guess I gotta learn about snakes." She told herself.

Looking back to Ash, she looked in the direction he pointed. "A Roselia!" She said happily, crouching down as she smiled at it. "Aren't you just beautiful? Your petals are so shiny! Been sunbathing?" The sweet talk seemed to be winning the rose pokemon over, who waddled over to show off the petals.

"Ohhh, beautiful! How lovely!" She giggled, smiling. "You want to come with me? I can get you so much grass friends and lots of sunshine!"

Looking at Ash, she smiled. "Roselia, most people like to keep them in pots so they can get all the things they need to grow."
