tag notes | The apartment was a pigsty. There was little to nothing that had order, like a hurricane. But a hurricane would make the whole interior of the little studio of 400 square feet just that much better. The sink had dishes flooding upwards, clothes were thrown about everywhere, the bathroom smelled weird.
Don't worry, the bathroom came that way before renting.
Still, today was the day!
The alarm goes off, and Genny is up at 5AM. She has approximately two hours to get ready, and despite possible neurotic tendencies, she begins the day. First, shower, then teeth brush, then nails, followed by blow dryer, then hairbrush, only after that could she have the Ranger outfit. She finally gets to wear it! She even ironed it last night! It looks so cute! The shoes, the black socks, the top, the jacket! The only thing she didn't like was the hairband, but with a little ingenuity, and a red scrunch, she puts her hair into a cute ponytail to fit the Ranger aesthetic! Next came make-up! The rest of the studio was pretty messy, but the bathroom was perfect. Make-up was color coordinated, and after a light bit of blush, eyeliner, some lip gloss, she looked at the time.
6:45AM! She had time to do laundry!
Running about the apartment, she started to fish every last thing up from her home into the laundry basket Serenity was sleeping in, and as she goes to fish for every piece of cloth, following in her trail is Bubbles, the Azuril with a tiny bow on her left ear. Throwing the clothes on Serenity, and stacking the basket, she calls out.
"Mr. Business, laundry day!" With an audible unga bunga fling upwards, Mr. Business hops from the corner like a beanbag chair given sentience, grabs the basket Serenity was still in, and holds it for Genny to throw blouse by blouse, skirt by skirt, sock by sock, everything covering the floor now in the basket with an Eevee surprise. She shoves a hand into the short-shorts she had one yesterday, tongue out as she fishes for it... and she jumps for joy when she feels four quarters, her outfit bouncing with her. "Yay! We have a dollar for laundry!" Bubbles and Mr. Business hopped up as well, Serenity's sleepy paw holds up from the basket, completely dizzied by the whole affair.
Now! The time read 7:15AM!
She does one more once over, makes sure her butt is nice and perky, and proceeds to hold Bubbles on her shoulder, and head to the laundry room, before entering the dollar in quarters to the machine, throwing her clothes in, only the darks of course.
As Serenity finally is freed from her prison of madness, Genny finally scoops Serenity up to her other shoulder, and with Mr. Business, she leans back, letting him carry the trio with a single beefy arm. "Onwards, to the HQ!"

And she was still late. 8:05AM.
Appearing five minutes late, Mr. Business, Bubbles, Serenity and Genny appeared in front of the HQ, as Genny races inside, all three following in her wake, as she races towards the office.
Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no. She skids to a halt. "I'm looking for Captain Fawnley! Has anyone seen him?!" She's freaking out. She was late, she didn't mean to be! Oh well, she would make up for it! No job was too big, nor too hard for Genevieve Cromwell! Today, a cadet of the Slateport Pokemon Rangers just like her mother and father! She only hopes Captain Fawnley isn't a stickler for timing! Laundry was important!
And so was having her life together, but she wasn't a pessimist!
