This included, but was most certainly not limited to: the thriving forest at PETALBURG, the scorching desert on ROUTE 111, the lava fields at the JAGGED PASS, and yes, even the hard-to-reach depths of the SEAFLOOR CAVERNS littering Hoenn's ocean floor. It was one of the latter in which he found himself in now.[break][break]

He emerged from a cave pool in complete diving gear. After taking his gear off, setting it aside for his exit later, and dressing into something warmer, however, he summons a CUFANT to help him explore the caverns ahead.[break][break]

It was time to see what kind of Pokémon lived down here, get a good measure of the population density and variety, and acquire more information about the resources at their disposal for food, nesting, and other things. Of course, catching some of them could prove to be invaluable towards research outside of the cavern as well.[break][break]

Feeling rather excited about it, actually, Audric steps forward and begins to explore the cavernous chambers and passages. But it isn't long before he literally bumps into somebody in the dark. "A-Ah, I'm sorry!"[break][break]

The sea caverns was a fascinating place. Even though it was a pain to travel all the way down here, Sunny enjoyed exploring them. With each visit she would discover something new. It was also a great training ground for her pokemon as the cavern had plenty worthwhile opponents for her team.

Sunny had brought plenty of gear to stay in the caverns for a good while, but one thing she wasn't prepared for was a faulty flashlight. Every minute or so the light would flicker on and off - she tapped on it aggressively hoping that would magically fix it. Instead it turned off completely. "Oh! You good for nothing.." She mutters with frustration, she reached for her backpack and started digging around for spare batteries - which were difficult to find since it was so dark.

Her swampert next to her emitted a low grumble as he had sensed a presence close by, but Sunny paid no attention to it. It was then where she felt another bump into her, alarmed there was an audible gasp from Sunny and she stammered back a few steps unsure what had bumped into her until she heard a man's voice.

Suddenly the flashlight would blink on and she was able to catch a glimpse of the man. "Watch where your going!" She stated in a light joking manner, knowing that it was impossible for him to do in the dark. She then laughs and smiles, "Just kidding, I'm good! How about you?" She asks Audric extending her hand to help him if needed, and just out of courtesy.
